Bravo, what a find
But looking at the registration plate, on the blue Honda at 0.44, showing an N prefix, it is possibly later being 1975 SSDT as the N prefix couldn't be issued before Aug 1st 1974,am I right?

Yep
I have been using one for 20 years
In winter I remove 5 gallon a week of water from my double garage
All my bikes & garage are perfect
When it is really frosty I turn it off for a few days as you need temps above freezing for them to work properly
This year has been fine as we haven't had much colder weather
-
After the very first model in 2006, based on a 2005 bike year bike
From 2007 all Repsols came with standard throttle body
-
Best modification is fuel, lots of it
-
Parts prices are realistic too, not like some Beta stuff
-
Likewise, it's the easiest bike i have ever started and needs the merest 'push', most of the time and far less effort than my old 315R 2 stroke
-
Fastest time in the 2014 Scott too, plus just missed the same in 2015 by a whisker from this man & on an older 4rt if I'm not mistaken - not a 260 versionIndeed jrsunt can fly, on his
-
Interesting - Evo 2t or 4t?
I was thinking of getting an Evo 250 2t, thinking it maybe better, what did you not think is better?
-
They really are CRAP...................don't flipping buy one
There you are, a totally honest and objective review from myself
-
At 16.5 stone, I reckon a 200 is a bare minimum cc
-
I went down memory lane, 8-10 years ago with a TLR & Majesty and they weren't as good as we THOUGHT they were in the 1980's... perhaps I shouldn't bother again
-
I have the stock Repsol alloy hangers on mine, because I think they'll be weaker/softer than the plain steel ones - hopefully (touches wood)
-
That's a good point Ross
I had a proper original Godden Majesty 200 until about 8 years ago & always favoured the modern bikes as the brakes & chassis/suspension was crap in comparison & had a TLR200 as well
I guess we forget how far modern bikes have come on, in 30 years
-
Frame?
Or just the steel hanger plate?
-
I saw that 315 - but decided against another as I'd had 2 & preferred the 4RT to the 315
Got a weird hankering for a TYZ though
-
I'm fancying another bike, alongside the 4RT
Can decide between Twinshock Yam or TLR or an Aircooled Mono Pinkie or RTL?
I think the Mono may be more rewarding
Prices seem all over the place though
-
I wouldn't before & now I certainly wouldn't buy an Ossa
-
I agree, considering how many TY Monos were sold in the 1980's and 90's, some bits like plastics/exhausts/kickstarts are officially dscontinued from Yamaha, so you have to scour old stock or used spares
-
Scarborough Club have the best facilities
-
Ashes to ashes.....................a brief revitalisation and then confined to history again
-
-
Take them both to Butser Lime Works at the moment, when it's wet
That'll sort 'em out
-
You should have gone the Mitani route as their stuff fits spot on, I have zero trouble with the tank cover & swing arm/air box/fork covers (2007 Repsol) - the rest is genuine Honda carbon on mine
The only abs plastic on mine are the frame guards & I agree with all you say - I had to trim at the lower hanger area & use extra zip ties - but they're sacrificial & mine are beat up
You pay your money & take your choice
-
No
No
No
I use a 4RT for Trials & either a DR350Se or XR 400R for trailriding
In the UK there are not enough technical trails for a 4Ride, except maybe Devon
-
Is that right - I thought the FIM minimum weight is 65kg, so why produce a bike lower than 60kg
