  1. Why ? Surely if you can meter fuel more accurately for a more precise throttle response & also avoid/minimise the likelihood of fuel spillage (leaky carbs) into the environment (appease the greens) then that is a good thing Is it not?
  2. Just get the normal metal 4RT one, from a local dealer - not dear
  3. £2695, ok..................only if it's mint, ready to ride and registered
  4. Why cut them? Why not neatly tape them up & fold them away in a recess
  5. Why don't people try the importer or local dealer first?
  6. I'm sure I've seen a tlr for sale in that neck of the woods recently on eBay Or am I mistaken?
  7. Clice or Xciting for me Good quality, muted colours & not too garish Plenty of room at knees for knees guards etc
  8. So why are they so popular? Good dealers? Beta seem to sell by the shedload, they can't be all that bad?
  9. Only a problem if VOSA stop you or you're involved in a serious RTC and the Police and VOSA experts can attribute any blame to you and the bike rack legality
  10. Just fit a 9, up front Then buy a 42 AND 43 for the rear Swapping isn't a big job & then you can experiment with both options to see which YOU like best Only YOU will know which suits your style, not us

if it's a DID rim, which I'm sure they are - then a Montesa one should be the same
  12. Can you imagine a KTM Trials bike with WP suspension, they own WP so they can design their own suspension Lush................
  13. All true - except the cost savings on import duties are EEC wide not just Spain Yamaha do the same in Italy That's the real reason - trade tarriffs going back to the 1980's when Honda bought Montesa Trials bike production is a spin off & the cheapest source of World Championship titles
  14. Best to keep them out of sight at home & when transporting to & from venues - a van is best Trailers & racks advertise what you have
  15. I find the same, must be me However watching very good riders @ ssdt & Scott on 4RT's they do seem to be expending more effort getting the bike through the sections than their counterparts on 2T's Shame because they are lovely bikes
