Would you buy a used Ossa, this weekend? Can I still get spares?
  2. Agreed 100% Most of us could ride better on a 2T, but as you say that's not always the point
  3. Local Trials specialist for me, they put something back into our sport
  4. I can't see a huge point in it really
  5. That's how I read the Normandale regs, so thought I'd ask
  6. Can you ride a TYZ in the Normandale or Kia series?
  7. Vintage Motorcycle Club, Durham section
  8. 100% agree Not a lot ask is it, in this 24/7 society We can trial 51 other Sundays Also it goes back to Trials starting at 11am, the very moment when the 2mins silence is observed
  9. Love to see him ride the BTC or the SSDT
  10. The theory is fine However most start areas are quiet areas & organisers frown on bods riding around too much & like to get the field off ASAP Most first sections are tame at club trials so everyone gets warmed up on something easy - hence my quip earlier - 'clean the first section'
  11. Thanks for the insight I agree about motorcycle sales in decline & can only get worse as the rider age demographic ages
  12. Interesting, i'm thinking of getting an Evo 250, what do you think to the 4RT and what didn't you like about the Beta?
  13. Agreed Touch the 4RT throttle & the FI is off like a scalded cat
  14. Clean the first section and you'll be reet, that'll calm your nerves All good advice, that has been said I stop each lap, at the Van to re-fuel - even if it's not strictly necessary as it's a real bugger to run out of fuel Also I drink lots of water, after each lap and have a banana or something just to put some energy back in each lap - kinda feed your bike and yourself Stopping for 5 mins, each lap allows you to relax, regain your composure, do a few stretches (stop arm pump) and takes you out of the moment for a while Then refreshed you're ready to go again and try to do what you did well on the preceding lap and change what you did crap and try a different technique At the start of each section, on subsequent laps - ask to see if its changed or have a quick look, as sometimes the section is changed by the Clerk, if it has been too difficult or easy
  15. Of course, join as many as you like
  16. Enjoyed that
  17. Chuck it in the bin Time for a new one - as the OP has done
  18. Shorter length, more flexible, grip on soles I have both types of boots and would never consider MX/Enduro boots on a trials bike
  19. night and day different
  20. No, asking questions Is fine It's just some of yours seem loaded, that's all Perhaps I am being unjustified - just the way it seemed after some previous posts maybe If I was wrong I apologise
  21. Ok, I wasn't sure Thanks
