I bet Michael Brown has sleepless nights, after reading Dadof2's comments about the bike he has ridden for the past few years & more importantly signed to ride again for the future Does Dadof2 know something Brownie doesn't?

That's a fairly far reaching and negative statement................i'm surprised you took the time to compile it I have no personal experience of GasGas, but I see plenty of them at events, together with Beta and Sherco - so as a straw poll, then they must ride well and hold up ok as you see some pretty old ones at Trials most weeks As others have said, I reckon most owners seem reasonably happy with the GasGas bikes, as they keep on riding and buying them Judging on what you see - I reckon GasGas and Beta sell most bikes bought in the UK, so sales speak for themselves

True, but no reason why other manufacturers can't achieve similar expertise

I thought Montesa did a header with a sensor in it, everybody junks it for a Mitani though My BMW GSA has sensors for the EFI & BMW have been using EFI on bikes since 1994 with very few problems They can adjust them for all petrol fuel types EFI on bikes isn't new & is well understood
  7. Even more disappointing with the latest turn of events
  8. 2 trail bike's stolen in nearby Keighley yesterday morning - during daylight Must be a spate going on - keep your eyes peeled & bikes safe & out of sight
  9. You're right What does the 2014 Repsol do better than my 2007 Repsol Apart from 10cc's
  10. None taken £5k bottom £5.5k top I'd pay for a new 2015 one if a 2014 one was over £5.5k
  11. He only asked..................... He's going to advertise it for £5400 and he'll probably do a deal at £5000-£5200 in reality See................I wasn't far out, was I

  15. I did the same 4 weeks ago & I could hardly walk for 2 weeks the swelling was so bad Be careful it may get worse, if you don't rest it with all that internal bleeding My mate did the same last year & spent 2 weeks in hospital with cellulitis & blood clots as a result
  16. Great, many thanks
  17. All sorted A very nice man gave me some pointers last night and I've been up this afternoon, bought a programme from Reeth garage (fantastic momento and well done RMC) All section timings worked out and i had a ride round the roads to suss out where I'm going to watch tomorrow Bring it on, can't wait Good luck to all the competitors
  18. I keep looking on RMC's website, but no route map is listed for this year's Trial as yet Can any RMC official tell me if they are listing the map, or do I have to nip up tomorrow to pick up a programme (was going to buy one on Sat anyway) Help?
  19. I thought the forecast looked reasonable ? Sunshine & showers - normal for Reeth Am I mistaken?
  20. Ah I see now Most years I see a lot of spectators randomly carrying complete rear wheels along with their cameras & bait boxes Do they use them to sit on? Make a good alternative to a shooting stick
