HaMy old bike - that was 1982 registered & built Jan 1982 & apart from new rims was pretty original with a nickel plate Godden frame
However it was a full size frame, not a mini frame

Many thanks
They look just the job, exactly what I'm after

My 4RT came with some Trials cast snail cams and whilst I like the larger diameter, I'm looking for some thinner width ones, so not to compromise the threads on the wheel spindle
Any recommendations?

In reality how big was that step, looks huge from your camera angle, Neil?
Is that the same one as in Lairds 1982 Scott pics, taken from further up the beck (more water too)?

Search Ebay
Some on there for £15 per litre + post
-
They ought to send over the Bou and Fuji Honda truck over from Spain, to support their loyal Honda customers
Full of spares and spannermen
-
£2825 then for a 2013 machine and the new price was in the region of....??
-
Good one
Hope you're enjoying it

It's true - eBay finds a true level for lots of stuff in an auction situation
Some of the classified ads are unrealistic though, like the TY250S Mono that went on last night at £2500 , with crap pics & an even worse description
I'm sure dealers also watch eBay too, to gauge the market for particular bikes & models
The Ossa looks a trick bike & I'm sure it rides well - maybe a bit radical for some though, hence the 2nd hand prices in a more limited market

Lucky man Ian
Enjoy your new bike

It certainly was..............almost poetic in their bike skills
-
That's a good point, about Charltons
-
Lots of style and poise on this one, no clutch either

Do you think you were followed home??
Bikes on trailer/rack or washing at home, in sight of a road?
Gutted for you, do you mind me asking which general area of North Yorks, as it's a bit too close for comfort to hear this too

So ................which option is better?
Renthal Fatbars or the Tomaselli Braced bars?
Does one work better than the other or is just fashion?
-
It makes you wonder
Well established, great reputation & good solid premises
Business is still tough, nowadays

I have dealt with them on and off for nigh on 30 years, in person and by post
Buying bikes from them has been excellent, everything said and promised, was carried out on collection (despite living in Yorkshire and being miles from them) - they were good and honest people and I had high regard for Mark Kemp and his staff
A very, very sad day, for all of us and not withstanding all the staff at BVM
Another great name and dealer gone from the Trials world
I shall sport my BVM Moto stickers, with pride on my bike

If you're worried about weight perhaps you bought the wrong bike & should have bought a GasGas
I think the shaving of a few grams here & there is a bit pointless as you can't change the huge frame & it's geometry
Back to exhausts - more importantly will they give you any performance gain ????
