  1. Well said Woody No jealousy here, I'm not good enough to ride a beast like that I think the guy removed pics for his own reasons, maybe threat of theft (easy to I'd a location from a pic) or some other reason
  2. From the OP, good lad and hang onto that I would try to get an original exhaust fabricated by a specialst welder, taken from original pics and then restore it
  3. Full 360? Lucky bloke, he has a very nice uncle
  4. Pics have been posted http://forums.mxtrax.co.uk/showthread.php/336241-1979-Honda-RTL-360-from-HRC-in-my-shed/page4 Looks like something really interesting and could be the real deal, either 305 or 360
  5. Seems some pics may appear tonight, after the nephew (poster) speaks to his uncle More discussion here http://forums.mxtrax.co.uk/showthread.php/336241-1979-Honda-RTL-360-from-HRC-in-my-shed
  6. Many thanks Another one off the list........................I think i'll stick to riding Trials and just spectate at a Vinduro enduro, it'll be cheaper
  7. It made £1665 on the Bay today, now you mention it - the bike had a YZ case, but the crumbly Mag brake plates, I should imagine (had enough of them with Twinshock TY's ) I have a 98 XR250R, which is sound and in great nick - luckily I can ride it in the trailbike class at some Vinduro timecard events, so I think I'll use that and just soak up the old bike stuff, without the ownership hassle Thanks for the tip, never had much to do with Kwackers - I also fancy a 1990 RMX250 Suzuki, for some reason if I can find a good'un
  8. I like that..................a lot
  9. I went to look at an 1983 IT175 yesterday for Vinduro's It was a sound and mechanically good example (maybe needed some carb work), with ok cosmetics - good but not mint, not road reg (another £200 needed at least) and the guy wanted £1800 for it - no movement I really couldn't see £1800 in it for a 30 year old bike, which still needed some (unquantifiable) work and registering - when for £2k there's some cracking modern Enduro and Trials bikes around I think I need a re-think
  10. Can't get the slideshow to work this week, Neil
  11. Don't knock it, those 1750HL's were ok in their day and good for sticking a trials rack on the back I agree, there's some pretty average bikes (in their day) making stupid money nowadays and in comparison to what a modern bike will do, it's nuts I've had a few Jap classics in the last 10 years, DT175MX, RD400c - bought before prices went nuts and bought with rose tinted specs and memories are best left firmly in the past when they were good in their day, but woeful nowadays
  12. It don't matter, Repsols only have a plaque and some Carbon bits, which you can purchase anyway Nice bike
  13. There's a lot of fakes too

    4Rt Decals

Stickers on eBay or just buy a new stickered mudguard is probably easiest
  15. Waist high scissor lifts are well worth it
  16. Why would they want to? There are loads of 2 strokes already & the 4RT is a cracking 4stroke
  17. Try Gas Gas, they make them and they sell bits
  18. CN do an offroad laid up policy for fire & theft for about
  19. Not this old chestnut again Decent pair of walking boots, are your friend
