Our local weekly paper. Darlington & Stockton Times, which covers Darlington to Harrogate and the West to the Dales, has a full or half page Trials roundup report and pics, plus it also prints at list of forthcoming Trials for the coming few weeks with dates and venues, alongside the Footie and Rugby results But Trials is pretty big in Yorkshire, compared to other parts of the UK

Not sure that's the answer, but I hear what you're saying As a schoolboy I rode a TY175 from New (and it was registered) from 14-17 (and after) When I was 17, in 1982 - I just bolted the lights & horn back on, attached a number plate, took it for an MOT and then taxed it Once I'd done that, I commuted 15 miles each way to work and back, daily for a couple of years and at weekends I'd just put my comp number on the front of the headlight grill to ride a trial Doubt you could do that on a modern bike so readily, those Yam engines were so forgiving and would take constant 50mph on the road all day long

In your opinion, better than the circus dancing you advocate, to me We differ, that's all !! I bet if you asked the top riders whether they enjoyed the Scott or SSDT or a round of the WTC better, I wonder what event they would choose as their favourite

Same old arguments, the rules are the rules I prefer no stop, it makes a trial flow better & is more realistic for the majority of spectators Observing shouldn't be harder to mark no stop, it never was harder before

Scott 2012 Pics
Cheers Neil, Now I know who you are, I'll have a chat next time & maybe you can give me a few tips Always have a look at your pics each week & they're good It was my first time with a DSLR - old Canon 300D - so nowt fancy I'm pleased with how they came out especially the later ones at Reels with Swaledale as a backdrop - I thought they gave a sense of depth to the awesome views up there Hope to get better over time ( just like my riding )
