CBT
CBT = Compulsory basic training CBT is the test just to allow you on the public road, not a licence When you have passed the CBT you can ride a bike up-to 125cc with a maximum of 11kW on L plates To ride anything larger (33kW) you must be accompanied by an approved instructor at all times (on L plates) Best to do the CBT + Direct access test as a then you can ride anything

ATF Dexron III
Cant see why ATF should break down any quicker than std gear oil, ATF is still designed to lubricate gearboxes (Just auto boxes) The biggest killer to the oil is the clutch friction material

Take your time finding the correct bike, if you buy the first bike you see you may regret it! And always take someone who can give you a second opinion

a word of warning
Id never bid on, or buy a bike without looking first, cant see why people do this? 80% of all the bikes described as "mint / excellent / hardly used" I’ve seen are ready for the knackers yard! It took me 4 months to find a good bike

Pre-65 Scottish
I think the point B40 is making is without rules anything goes! Why do rules always seem to cause people problems, if you don
-
Pre-65 Scottish
Mention the word pre 65 and everyone starts moaning I reckon the rules should state: if it sounds like a British bike, smells like one and looks like one, then it is one Anyway, I think they have made the rules clear for this event, if you don

Tow bar vertical load limit
According to the information supplied with the rack it state that it will carry 130kgs, and on the rack manufactures website I've used it on an Escort Diesel & currently use it on a Berlingo van, but I must say Ive only used it on heavy duty towbar assemblies (the type with ½ steel gussets behind the towball rather than the 40mm box type)
