  1. ATF is the best gear oil to use For the cooling: I use good quality (Car) anti-freeze with a corrosion inhibiter mixed 50/50 with distilled water
  2. CBT = Compulsory basic training CBT is the test just to allow you on the public road, not a licence When you have passed the CBT you can ride a bike up-to 125cc with a maximum of 11kW on L plates To ride anything larger (33kW) you must be accompanied by an approved instructor at all times (on L plates) Best to do the CBT + Direct access test as a then you can ride anything

  8. Cant see why ATF should break down any quicker than std gear oil, ATF is still designed to lubricate gearboxes (Just auto boxes) The biggest killer to the oil is the clutch friction material

  10. Take your time finding the correct bike, if you buy the first bike you see you may regret it! And always take someone who can give you a second opinion
  11. Has anyone had difficulty removing the clutch-retaining bolt from a TXT Pro? The hex on the bolt is very shallow!

  13. Its very annoying when they do lie about the description, and a total waste of fuel & time! Good luck finding one
  14. Id never bid on, or buy a bike without looking first, cant see why people do this? 80% of all the bikes described as "mint / excellent / hardly used" I’ve seen are ready for the knackers yard! It took me 4 months to find a good bike

  16. I think the point B40 is making is without rules anything goes! Why do rules always seem to cause people problems, if you don
  17. Mention the word pre 65 and everyone starts moaning I reckon the rules should state: if it sounds like a British bike, smells like one and looks like one, then it is one Anyway, I think they have made the rules clear for this event, if you don
  18. According to the information supplied with the rack it state that it will carry 130kgs, and on the rack manufactures website I've used it on an Escort Diesel & currently use it on a Berlingo van, but I must say Ive only used it on heavy duty towbar assemblies (the type with ½ steel gussets behind the towball rather than the 40mm box type)
  19. Then it would be modern trials! What was so special about 1904?
  20. Do they actually sell them, as there website is years out of date
