  1. Worth a try, as stated above wheel bearings don't last long anyway
  2. Its not just a case of measuring and copying, sherco probably invested a lot of money and time in choosing the correct manufacturing processes and material choices for each component It
  3. My mate has asked me about this bike on pistonheads (hes after a cheap bike to start on), I rekon its a bit too cheap? But Im no expert on trials bikes! Sherco

    my gears.

Its very hard to select gears with any accuracy without the motor running (best practice is to stop motor in neutral) Best to run thought all the gears when riding, if you have six gears and it changes ok then all is fine
  7. I think the point most are making is they can

    Air Box Help

Just noticed on my bike that the air box boot doesn’t seem to fit very well I tried my best to get it to fit better but it seems that it needs to be 1/2 inch longer? Is this correct, it has a rubber on the carb about 3/4inch long, which the plastic boot fastens to with a jubilee clip?
  11. BSA On ebay: BSA C15 It seems a very nice bike, but if Im not mistaken that seems to be a B25 with a B25 Frame (pre oil in frame) The B25 was made 1968 onwards What would happen if you tried to enter this bike in a Pre65 trial?
  12. Probably not the best forum for a VF motocross model as most people here are trials riders If I remember correctly though it should have a red frame I have a VR250, but the parts are like gold dust for the Cappra MX models!
  13. When I was racing motocross, press-ups and rowing machine work well (every day if possible)
  14. I never said anything about the bike, just the fact they have done nothing to promote it (read my above posts) Don
  15. I’m more than qualified as an engineer, and spent a few years as prototype engineer for a very large automotive company Plus you don’t need to be an engineer to work out the website is years out of date! (They have entered the SSDT and can’t be bothered updating the website diary) Also the people who leave comments on here are the buying public, might be worth them taking notes?
  16. Good point, what about if the company fails what about spares then!
  17. They could do with selling a few 2 strokers first, and maybe updating there website
  18. I can understand the lack of interest, they can
  19. Parts for the beamish seem fairly easy to find, easier than some Montesa parts!
  20. Is that a tubeless rear rim fitted?
  21. Help with obstacle Ive been trying to climb over a large concrete sewage pipe (3-4ft) I did manage it once in about twenty tries (think it was a fluke)! The problem is I can get both wheels on but end up going backwards / jumping off bike! Ive tried it in first and second gear, but I think I may be approaching it to slowly?
  22. It will be interesting to see how well they do
