I believe your question is the fundamental reason humans created the theory of an all encompassing god. It was a simple way to explain all these things. Today, we know much more and are growing in knowledge daily. With all this information now available, it is only a matter of time before the theory of god is completely dispelled. By the way, I was brought up as a Christian in a Christian family and baptised as such. As soon as I grew a brain and reasoned the information, I became an atheist. In my opinion, the evidence around me suggests that I am closer to the truth than you are. My final say on the matter as well Now, in relation to the Politics, I have great hope in Obama. He has by far a greater intelligence than Bush could ever have and has the potential to be one of the greatest US presidents ever. I really hope he pulls it off.

I hate it when politicians from any party have to wade in and give their view. It's not like they are beyond reproach is it? for instance, did Prescott lose his job for punching that geezer that time? I reckon the value of OLH 721 today would be worth much more than that 4rt over the same period.
