Boots--how Tight?
I like mine pretty tight, nothing worse than your foot shifting around inside your boots. Saying that though not so tight that it's uncomfortable.

Just wanted to say, if you need any parts, these guys take some beating, went on their website and decided what I wanted (www.bvm-moto.co.uk) and phoned in my order, very nice people, good advice and parts arrived super-quick by courier. 2nd time I've used them, and it definitely won't be the last!!

2005 Wtc Outdoor Trials Review
P.S. I've got an idea!! I got my copy from Lovefilm (online hire), If anyone wants a free monthly trial of lovefilm, I can give out 4 week trials (as opposed to the standard 2 weeks) so you can watch it for free. PM Me to Let me know if you want a trial. (www.lovefilm.com) P.S. They are very good at delivering the DVD's on time.

2005 Wtc Outdoor Trials Review
I got the WTC2005 dvd, I thought it was severely lacking in content, the British round especially, about 5 mins of more or less the same 2 stages.

Rev 3 Manual
I've got an 02' 270, I've got an 05' manual that some kind chap off here (Kinell) sent me, since then, I've photocopies it and mailed it out for a few people on here, if you want a copy I can do one for you. Even though it's an '05 it's still all relevant to our bikes. Let me know if you want a copy. Cheers Andy

Advice For A New Guy?
Very welcoming, I only just got back into the game myself after 11 years off (university and women got in the way). The whole scene itself is great and the nature of the people couldn't be more gentlemanly imo.

Good Choice?
I picked up my 02 Beta Rev-3 270 for 1550 from ebay, hardly ridden. For 1400 you should be able to get an '02 bike on there no worries. Don't forget you also need to leave some money for boots, helmet and gloves etc.

Spluttering And Backfiring
P.S. Regarding fuel, I always run mine on Optimax, helps to keep things clean and has a bit more power due to the extra RON. Chuck yer old fuel out, drain/syphon your tank and bang some Optimax in. P.S. If you're really stuck (like I was). Take it up to Lampkins in Silsden, very helpful bunch, they even waived the labour charge for the Stator job.

Spluttering And Backfiring
Hi Mate, I've got an '02 270 and I had similar problems, had to have the CDI unit, and then the stator replaced on mine. But I think I was pretty unlucky. The recommended Spark plugs in the manual are Champion N7YCC (I got a 4 pack from Halfords with a dual-copper core). Andy
