I've written and submitted a second entry to my blog, but it appears in preference to page one.
For anyone going to the blog for the first time, it makes more sense to see page one and not page two.
Is it possible to set it to show page one first?
Sorry if the answer is obvious.

Thanks Andy, I will do it that way rather than using the 'edit' function on the exisiting page.

Forgive me if I am asking a silly question, (but being new to things such as Bloggs and chat rooms etc.), is the idea of a blogg to produce one long long page of writing and update it periodically by adding to the bottom,.......
or is it to write a new entry every time, thus making multiple entries all on different pages?
-
I certainly wouldn't buy it if I wasn't a competitor/organiser, although I must say the email letter on page 5 from David Clibbery concerning classic trials machines was very well written.

Any help is always appreciated, if every rider would observe once a year at a trial they wouldn't normally go to (ride in), then our problem with observers would be cured.
NOT wishing to start the 'Observer' debate yet again, but it is our clubs biggest headache and were lucky enough to have a big club with a strong core of dedicated observers and helpers. How the smaller clubs manage I hate to think.

I loved my Pampera, I just couldn't live with the maintainance for a third year of ownership.
The Pampera is in a different league when it comes to Long Distance trials or really technical trail riding, but it is limited by its trials bike engine when it comes to road or enduro use. The T ride comes accross in the video as a perfect combination of an enduro/trail bike engine matched to a lightweight trials type chassis. I think Front has summed it up very well and I for one can't wait to see how good the T ride is in the flesh.

So.... has the latest issue redressed the trials inbalance?

Excellent post Andy, thanks very much for that.
Having just watched the test session on tv, the thing that most stood out was the small size of the new 800's. Even Pedrosa looked big on his Honda and he's only 5ft tall, the 800 must be tiny.

And I've posted a few pictures there too!

Hmmmm. That location is the same village in the same county as I am - and it ain't a big village! Now who round here could that be???
The same ebayer recently sold a red Volvo too..... now that must narrow it down. A biker with a Volvo

Finally.....
Another poor picture I know, but it was the only one I got of Graham Jarvis. Warners King Section 40
And, Sam Haslam back at Top Farm again, this time in section 17 which was observed by Ralph
-
John Luff and Becky Cook, both in section 20
And one of Dean Basford on his way to cleaning section 39 at Warners.
I know this picture is rubbish, but I think it shows how wet it was.

Ross Danby at Top Farm section 20

Here's a few action shots from Top Farm- Eddie Roberts, section 17

Thanks for that Mick.
Congratulations to Lee Sampson for Winning the Colmore

First of all I must say a big thankyou on behalf of the Stratford club to everyone who observed or punched at the Colmore today, to stand out in those conditions goes way beyond the call of duty. Thank you thank you thank you.
We can't use the excuse that the weather caught us out as it had been accurately forcast for days, but boy did it catch us out. I had set out 11 sections, 3 at Grove, 6 at Top Frm and 2 at Warners King.
Every one was what I considered easy by Novogar standards. The other plotters did the same, first thing this morning (starting at 7am) I made a few changes to make all my sections easier, and the rain came down and just didn't stop. Wrighty did the same thing in Dovedale but didn't have time to change the ones in Hancock and Camp.
At the half way point the win was still open to half a dozen riders or more, all under seven.
By all accounts the second half of the trial was slighly less challenging, Fred Braithwaite had put in some big climbs in Saintbury which always stands up to the wet well. In Western Wood, Graham Archer took over two sections as the speedy pace of the front runners, pressing on due to the deteriorating conditons, caught out some of the observers by arriving an hour early! Graham eased two sections and joined them together and did the punching for both. Thank Graham.
Back to Dovedale for the second set of sections, Wrighty had managed to make the necessary changes and things flowed very well. The very last section of the day in Warners King took a few marks, a dedicated approach to the wet off cambered roots was needed. Unfortunately one or two rear mudguards suffered here.
I will post the results when they are finalised but Lee Sampson got around for four marks lost with Graham Jarvis on seven.
Some other unconfirmed scores are; Midland Centre regular Mark Hicken lost 53, Becky Cook was on 77 and Eveshams Dean Basford finsihed on 83 marks lost.
Well done to everyone who finished today.

ebay works really well for me too, however I do get LOTS of scam emails pretending to be ebay, you just have to be careful with these.
-
I must say, from the limited ride a had on a '05 Sherco 4t I was very impressed, I would have paid the extra
-
Excellent!
Good luck in Scotland.

I renewed using the automatic paypal service, but Andy has asked us to cancel this (which I now have done) as he has to manually update every member which is time consuming. So I assume the same thing would be a problem with an ebay sale? Although it does sound like a brilliant idea for selling stickers etc.

Having been at Top Farm for most of the day setting out, I thought it might be worth letting people know how muddy the farm is incase anyone's thinking of spectating there during tomorrows Colmore.
The sections are on the high ground above the farm and are fairly dry at the moment (what they will be like if the forecast weather comes we will have to find out) but the farm and its approach road is ankle deep in mud, there is nowhere to park unless you have a four wheel drive with off road tyres.
Me and Wrighty got our cars along there today but there is no chance of parking off the road.
Normally, Top Farm welcomes anyone who wishes to come and watch as it is located on a unsurfaced country road, however for this years Colmore it might be best to stay away unless you are following on a trail/trials bike. I've even told some of the Observers to park else where and bring a trials bike. It's that muddy.
I would suggest the best place to watch might be Western Wood, it is easy to park on the side of the road and simply walk into the wood where there are five sections.
Thanks for your help with this.

Unless I'm very much mistaken, you need engine oil in a four stroke.

I ran a MKIII pampera for two years just as a long distance trials bike, I hardly used it for any trail riding and no enduros, just trials, the build quality was very poor.
The speedo packed in on the first ride, the down pipes went rusty after the first ride and the front wheel dented during the first trial.
The suspension linkage had huge ammounts of free play from new and subsequently wore out in no time. That said I loved riding the Pampera, it was as good as cheating when ridden in a trail bike trial, other riders don't realise just how like a trials bike they are.
Now Scorpa are releasing a fourstroke trail bike which 'may' do the same job, I would really like one. Only time will tell how useful it is going to be but fingers crossed that it goes as good as it appears in the video.
