  1. Kuel mule, you need to PM paioli. He will give you an honest opinion of the 270. He has gone back to the 250..
  2. Got to be honest chaps, Woody is the man to ask about most majesty questions not me. Anything i need to know about these bikes i ask woody, he s a walking twinshock encyclopidia.
  3. Best gearing set up when i had a TLR 250 was 9, 39. This made 1st and 2nd well useable instead of 1st in every section..
  4. Excellent news, Cant wait See you there!!
  5. Nice one OTF Get it registerd and bring it down to our trial in september.
  6. Hi Bowellesyboy I run a few local trials in Herefordshire for the Wye Valley A C. If you want to PM me through Trials Central you are more than welcome. I can give you details of what you need to get started and when we meet up etc. Welcome to Trials
  7. Aye stu Another quality trial from the Rhayader club. Be nice to have some of those subs in the classic in november
  8. Thanks greeves, any comments welcome. Just thought at the time of splitting the classes, say a rider with a 4 speed radial head bulto up against 240 pro, maj etc, would have a harder time of it in the same class. But as you people put your ideas forward, then its possible to rectify the problems before we start. And yes to a big entry if we can get the format right, then folk will want to return the next year. As you say keep it twinshock.
  9. Thought there might be a few more with an intrest, but there you go. OTF thanks for your input, all will be taken into consideration in the twinshock dept. Not too concerned about brit carbs on brit twinshocks because as its been said a million times, 99.9 competitive brit trials bikes dont have brit fork internals so why bother with carbs.. Woody, less classes will probably be the best option, as we got two routes for the event. Using the reverse formula as the classic experts, having the Twinshock class as the premire class. Regs will be up together after our april club meet, so i will give you an up date
  10. RIght Then, Lets Sort It Now. Whos got some ideas on CLASSES for Twinshocks?? I got the Sections, you give me the cl;asses!!! All i am trying is to get a good annual Twinshock meeting going. Because we need to get our regs for this trial sorted out.. Thanks in advance
  11. You got to join the forum to get the pics up Morg lu. Looks like a good site too
  12. Nice Majesty David Just joined your site in Aus, looks like you got some good twinshock stuff going on. Keep up the good work
  13. Malc The sections you ask about are in Hill lane. Hill Lane is a U C R (unclassified county road) so you could ride it today if you got a road legal machine. Last used as a group in 94 on the last national. Had a look at it two sundays ago when we had that heavy rain,it would have been only rideable down hill in a Canoe! I may use the lane to link up the Dulas and Rowlestone groups. Just have to wait and see closer to the trial
  14. OTF get your self a bike registerd, i want as many twinshocks as i can get!
  15. Hey Malc. Trouble with the dates is you can keep on moving the year this was done and that was done etc Lets just try create a good annual event for Twinshocks. 2 more confirmed groups yesterday at st margrets & rowlestone. It all gets better as we go, so lets keep the classes simple and let the event speak for its self Cheers Andy
  16. Good call Bo & Scorpa 3. I think if we put in a post 85 Twinshock class for blissers cotswolds and other creations. Then if folk turn up discs on a twinshock or a air cooled mono converted to twinshock, they ride for no award. Hows that? Scorpa 3, my apologies as this event has clashed with your OK Supreme Trail bike event, but it was the only date our event would not clash with a sammy round or ACU Classic round. Scotty. I use a drum braked mono fork set up in my Majesty, because the original forks did not perform as i wanted so i kept it Yamaha from 1980s as the monos came out about 84 85 i belive but dont quote me on it. So i see it as a mod that could have been done at the time. I belive the neihbouring Abergaveny Club is running a trial on the saturday afternoon before us so it could be two days of playing if you wanted. Lets just ride our bikes WHILE we still can Hope to see all you Twinshockers in september Cheers, Andy Pitt, Clerk of the Course
  17. Intresting thread this one. On 23rd September 2007 i wll be running a road based twinshock trial, useing old wye valley traders sections so i have been concerned about classes. So the classes for our trial. Pre72 Twinshock. Pre77 Twinshock Pre 85 Twinshock Twinshock Specials(eg any twinshock fitted with discs. Twinshocked Air Cooled monos) Ride for no award. British Unit Twinshock (cubs, c15, b40 etc) British Pre Unit Twinshocks. There will be two routes, Expert and clubman. Straight forward sections Obsreved under TSR 22B no stop proper Trials rules! Regs will be availible shortly
  18. : Sorry to hear the bad news bikespace I have ridden the forest trophy once and like Stu was looking forward to doing the event again this season! As you say proper sections for every ability, with nowt to get bored with. Lets hope you guys can come to some agreement with the NSPB and still have use of your cracking venue! GOOD LUCK...
  19. B*****ks TO YOU TOO FAT TIM, OR NICE BUT DIM May the best rider win
  20. Looks like its going to be a cracking season judging by the tests in spain Hope Rossi has better luck this year than last!
  21. Results on western centre site now chaps
  22. Bist I think you get for what you pay for in anything theses days. Got a set of falcons on the majesty and not yet had any problems yet They give a plush ride just like my yam pinky Had falcons on my last 3 bikes, no problems. Had a quick spin on a seeley yesterday, it had NJBs on, it felt like riding a Rigid! Rock shocks were big in the early 80s, with a lot of stars of the time using them, but i have not yet spoke to anyone using them at the moment, but i bet they aint like NJB rigid shocks. I think the Rock shocks were similar in price to the Falcons, as i said you get for what you pay lu..
  23. Its where the tough one is held. This round is normally run at rhayader or near welshpool.
