Thanks chaps
Reason why i posted this was i can see the original front pipe has been cut and rewelded when the motor was moved up in the frame.
My Majesty has 13 &half ground clearance, whereas the TY250 had about 11 so theres no way that pipe of millers will fit tidy on my godden without cutting it.
The flange story i heard before, a mate got a front pipe for his 175 and was pi--ed off to find he had to make the flange for the port!
Off to pipeline centre to see if theres any stainless dairy tube of similar size n make one so it wont be wrong then!!
Scottie, stick with it cause they are a cracking bike to ride

Hi
I have just bought a WES system for my majesty 250, and i am looking for a chrome front pipe to complete the job.
Any one here know who sells these?
I was told the miller ones fit but surley they would be for a standard yam twinshock, whereas i got a MK2 godden framed bike..
Any help appreciated

Two words sum up this event
TOTAL FARCE!
-
Cheers OTF
Tried 270cc ,seems to be ok , will try it out tommorow.
Next job angle ginder to the foot pegs and get em down 35mm or so and replace with Hebo items.
Cheers

Anyone here know the correct oil capacity of a pinky fork ?
-
I got my last set of C15 fine gears from Brit Bits 2nd hand of course.
Give them a go 01202 483675

Oy Stu, heres my opinion.
Scorpa is a great little bike, good for novices. You aint!
Get a pre 95 then if the classes do get changed you wont feel you wasted your time and cash.
Secondly pre 95 bikes are cheaper and most got a seat!!!!!
Stick with the period thing then most folk dont start moaning like the so called Brit bike trick thing.
Only other thing is to get a twinshock.
Majesty or Fantic prob the best option in my opinion.
You need to change that avatar too!
Now you live in a county with decent sections!!
Word of warning, not good to have rigid & a*** in same sentence tho..........

Aye i saw bubba do that triple downhill in the sunday am practice!!! How high did he go
Awsome display by Everts, good to see him go out on the top of his game!!!
Still think he would have struggled against R C tho
Hats of to Carioli too, best i ever seen him ride, simply untouchable in MX2 and Open race!!
Well done to the brit team in the face of some top quality teams.
-
Woody , do you think a ICTT for twinshocks would get the support?
Two routes a must, may be 2 laps of 16, as to cut out the work and observers?
There has to be lots of twsh bikes out there still registered for road use, also a cheaper alternative to brit?bikes.
Plus they go qicker on the road to save getting stuffed for time!!!!
I got 15mins penalty btw A--E
-
Aye Woody damn good day out.
Shame Barry got that time penalty, reckon next time to crack on and not go round as a team to take the p--s
out of each other
Still think the twinshocks should be allowed a go too!
Most bikes at the event were as good as, if not better than most twinshock bikes around today!
Thanks to the South Birmingham MCC for a good days sport

How can someone say this is unworkable if it aint been tried first?
-
Everts is no match for RC,saw them in 2003 at zolder, carmichael tried to get everts to challenge but he was not having any of it so after a bit of teasing , RC just checked out!!
2005 in france same expectations, no go. Everts was riding for the team position
The only rider to challenge RC last year at MXDN was Ben Townley, in my opinion if he would have stayed in europe this season would have taken the fight to everts and won!!
Hope to see Townley at this years event but he has been out of action for most of the season due to a knee injury, so he may not be fit.
Be there or miss the last chance to see the best MX rider on the planet before he retires!
-
No date set yet still working on the help etc but i think it has the potential to be a good do.
Please leave it with me for now....
-
Craigs E Bay handle is c1crm
-
Stu,
We need a good group of workers and observers to get this thing off the ground so it may take some time.
So dont hold yer breath!!!
ANY VOLENTEERS OUT THERE?
-
Aye good trial that, nice ride out , good sections, good veiws over the cotswolds.
I am doing the frank jones trial at builth wells next week and word is that the trial is 2X20 sections due to lack of entries, 30+entered so far.
Seems to me the Miller series needs the air cooled trail bikes class back to make these events worth while again.
Any thoughts?

Criag mawlam bought all the majesty stuff, he should have details on bearing sizes, sorry i dont have a number but you may be able to mail him on e bay.He too should have exhaust details. His handle is c1crm
I got a 250 Majesty Godden and pesonallyi think its the best bike i ever bought..
Best of luck

:Anyone here going to the Motocross of nations?
I have done 2001, 2003,2004,2005, and this event just gets better& better!!
The atmosphere is excellent, and the racing is just awsome, best riders in MX on the planet!
-
Naa its the Steam Racket Co.
Good luck Mick
-
Its got to be the Monarch of the Glen, Magical Mick Andrews.
Just look at all the results and what the guy has done for this fantastic sport
-
Its one HELL of a section!
Word has it that it was five continuos subs till 1990, then was cut to four subs with dead ground in between two bottom subs and two top. Dont hold me to this but i am told Rob Sartin was the only clean over five subs, and stefan merriman cleaned the four at a later date post 1990.
Word has it too that Mr Rathmell nearly lost an eye in that group.
Had a walk! up Trem a few weeks back with a mate, its hard to belive that folk were throwing twinshocks at it all those years ago!!!
It may run one day but we need some helpers and then some!
Cheers
-
Remember the miller round at rhayader in june, it seemed to me in the results all the brit specials had jumped ship and entered the unit class. I see the problem with numbers, its every organisers worry.
Have you any Allscott Results? We got us a forum now so folk dont have to look too far for results
-
Thanks Andy, for giving us somewhere to yarn about the classic side of trials.
Cheers
-
Best to ring Birketts they should be able to let you know, they the yamaha gurus.
01229 716806. Cheers.

Example. Experts. Pre75 Brit, Twinshock, Air Cooled mono. Hard Route.
Clubman. Pre75 Brit, Twinshock, Air Cooled mono. Easier Route.
Most of the current rounds are road based(proper trials), and there are a lot of rders out there who have less ability but still want a full days sport not 4 laps of the rabbit patch!
Isnt it about time we had a Classic Chat forum instead of useing the bike related forums?
I think we have enough events and series to cater for a classic forum, and we may be able to get results earlier than waiting for the comic to appear on fridays!!
What do you think folks?
