Going to try follow the ssdt one year tho

Do you want to sell them?
-
Anyone here going to support these folks tommorow?
Word is they got some good rocky terrain to ride so i reckon to do the 70 plus miles trip to see.
See you there
-
Vincent
Look at the TC calender to see if theres any classic events on in the midlands. There are plenty of clubs catering for twinshocks.
Or get TMX which is out every thursday (is where i live) or friday at your newsagents
Check out the regs page at the rear for up and coming events in your area
Happy Trialing

Just in the process of putting one of these events together, tho its two laps of 22 miles to be ridden twice, with 15 sectins per lap, should help on observers too doing only 15 sections.
More on this event when i get back from sunning me sen in GOA

See you soon
-
Marky
Reckon the W E S makes the bike sound crisper then..
I have the go ahead from the club for the road trial, just waiting for confirmation of the date from the centre board meeting, then it will be fully advertised.
You wont be dissapointed at the sections.
Quie a few of the groups were used on a national once held in the same area.
You wont be dissapointed, TRUST ME.

Scotty.
To put a Ty mono front end in your Maj, Your standard Ty yokes need to be bored out 1.5mm to take the later larger stantions.
I got my forks from, On Any Sunday Motorcycles in Devon UK.
The wheel base on my bike is 52.5 inches, which is nice and stable in rocky sections.
Not done any exhaust mods yet but thats the next job.
Probably be making a stainless front pipe from dairy tube.
You really need to be good mates with someone who has welding and fabbing facilitys, you could then make a flange from may be a 5mm st/st plate and cut it to suit using a plasma cutter.
You can buy 90 degree bends & tube from your local st/st stock holder.
Not tried the reed valves so cant comment. Cheers

Yes it was me with Stu, good trial at central wales.
Made a change to do a muddy trial in wales.
Their next event is on Jan 21st near Knighton so all being well see you there.
Marky your yam sounded crisp, have you done much to it apart from the W E S ?
Cheers
-
I reckon your Beta would look fetching in Pink Stu,
What you think ?
-
Oy STUpid
You dont live in northhampton no more do you?
-
Scotty
Dont wast your time with the standard forks!
Best way to sort out the front end is to use ty250 r forks n wheel.
These forks are light years better, i got them on my Majesty and most folk i know with the same bike use em.
Plus they stop the bike tucking in on turns, not like the standard set up.
Theres probably a few guys on here who could back me too.
Cheers
-
Nice Bike dude!
I see you had your standard front pipe chromed after all.
Did the SM one not quite fit then?
Nice to see a different colour frame too.
Enjoy riding it now
-
:agree: Reckon Knighter would be a usefull member of the MXDN GB team along with Tommy Searle and Billy Mac, we may have a fighting chance then
-
Aye i can back ya Trev
I put a CR80 clutch kit in my 250 TLR, sorted all the slipping n chatter, and still light to use
