If you do that 'mod' remember that your fan will be running continuously along with your engine....something it was not intended to do. It's a great field mod to get you home but that fan motor was only designed to complete 'so many' rotations in it's life span. I reckon a new fan is 10 times more expensive than a new 'stat switch? As always, the choice is yours, now that you have the relevant info
