  1. My old knees are so sore, that it affects my score . With a failing bod, it matters not whence you 'prod'. One side's like t'other when kicking that mutha.. Therefore left's same as right, so I don't give a 5h|te. OOps, I started off as a poet but turned into a rapper..
  2. Hey Mr. Admin, Can someone merge these topics please?
  3. Cheers Greeves, What a noise and what a playground..can we see a close up of Pol's right hand boot, inner calf?
  4. My God, those shards flew out and took off his thumb? I don't know where this topic is going 'cos you just reach down to fold it out then realise it's on the other side..about 2 seconds wasted..who can't live with that?

2nd class tyre....sidewalls are far too rigid, not very pliant at all..wait until the colder weather comes. You get what you pay for when you choose tyres. I have one fitted at the moment and can't wait to wear it down so I have an excuse to put a Michelin back on

There's something else to throw into the mix:- It's all mighty fine doing a glam video demo in sunny Spain but what about the real world British conditions?power sapping mud etc.. How long would a battery charge last, in the northern hemisphere, in the autumn/winter @ 5 degrees C or lower?

I don't think that trials bikes can ever be the vanguard of any new motorcycle technology as they are sold in such small numbers and can barely justify the development costs involved. Trials will always be piggy-backing off other motorsports..feeding from the crumbs, if you like. Apart from a unicycle a trials bike is the hardest wheeled vehicle to ride (yes/no discuss). As much as we like the aesthetics of our personal steeds, the over-riding (pun? ) aspect (IMHO) that we use to choose a trials bike is the way it rides? I reckon that we might have to reserve our judgement on these leccy bikes until we get some peg time on them. If they turn out to be easier to ride for the vast majority of us,which I've a suspicion that they might, then I think the petrol trials bike will be on the decline I base this assumption on the 9/10 BHP rating and the fact that they should be very smooth (most riders are 'over-biked'). There y' go loads of ifs and buts
  8. Yeah, yeah, me thinks he doth protesteth too much! I can see it now, on University Challenge:- Introducing St. Andrews; Pete Thomson, reading Economics and Law. Andy Greig, reading Razzle, Pregnant Asian Babes and the lingerie section of the Grattan catalogue
  9. A small grinding stone shaped like a little lollipop that would fit into a drill chuck...... I have no connection to the sale of these goods
  10. Use a ball stone (ouch!) grinder like everyone else does... carefully.
  11. Speaking as a clumsy clubman I've spotted a few more potential drop test failure points, namely, the lower frame in front of the peg hangers ( stress raiser/shear line?) and the gear lever looks like it's designed to snap if it's taken a whack...Ahhhh, sacrifices in the search for lightness..that Graham Chapman has a lot to answer for. If JTG wish to donate a test bike to me for thorough evaluation, I will forgo my usual clumsy clubman consultancy design fees
  12. I've observed this procedure first hand several times...it helps to avoid the rounded head in the first place ( not trying to sound like a smart 4r5e just trying to help for the next time around). That little bolt is well buried on the Pros
  13. Don't tell me you've put your bike on the luggage rack ? genius..that would help with traction coming off the roundabouts
  14. Ahyeee, Al Scotes-men ken winter..'tis the period from August to June, in their homeland..Ye ken? Anyhow..back on track...The latest Ibuki satellite info regarding the 'bogey-man CO2 tax beastie' has revealed an inconvenient truth ... some unpleasant data which (shock-horror)seems illustrate that the underdeveloped world emits far more CO2 than previously imagined, even more than many industrialised Western nations. It seems to confirm that the more industrialised a country is the more it absorbs CO2 and the more sparsely populated and rural a country is, the more it emits. So a little political tampering is required before the full facts are published

Ha, it must be hard to ride,Raga was on the flat and it still took a dab from him @ 0.44s I can't believe you guys are mourning the demise of the Pro gearbox/clutch?
  16. ..Yeah,but his golf's come on a treat though I can't wait to hear the real version of Obama's major presidential triumph (Osama's assassination). In a new book by the SEAL teams' trainer, Obama is flouncing on the golf course when SEAL team six(?)slotted Bert ( Geronimo?)NOT in the White House command centre as photographs suggest.

+1 here for the 'IRIS chains are sewage' club. Ok, that was just my opinion, here are the facts which shaped my opinion: Chain was 3 months old (which as others will confirm, means; I used it twice-ish ..I don't get out much y'nah:( ). Chain snapped/Flywheel cover trashed/Clutch slave cylinder trashed/Boot sliced/Ankle sore/lesson learned. I'm not the sharpest tool in the box but only really stoooopid people fail to learn from their own mistakes, I won't be buying an IRIS again......cue some smart 4r5e saying ''but it's good enough for Raga''..etc..
