Typical. Bought a new set of grips and ordered a pair of the special wire plier things, but thought I would give it one last go. Cleaned out the grip and the bars. Wrapped some duct tape around them and put on the grip using brake cleaner. Left it overnight and low and behold, firmly stuck down. I suppose I've a spare set of grips.

I've wrapped additional tape around the bar and used brake cleaner. It it doesn't stick I'm going to buy some new grips, as I think the problem is the grip.

I'm struggling to get a grip to stick to the bars of my ktm, hence the resurrection of this old topic. i've tried brake cleaner, hairspray (not mine) petrol and no success. I wonder if the grip has become impregnated with something.

There has been some live indoor trials on Eurosport some years ago but it was only the odd event, may have only been one. The indoor WTC would work well, live, certainly better than a lot of the sports currently shown on sports channels. It would certainly give a huge boost to the Championship and give it back some prestige, which it certainly lost during the Octagon years. May even give the ACU an incentive to introduce a British Indoor Championship, otherwise its not going to be much fun watching the same Spanish riders dominating the series.

Fair enough it thay mullet head had egged me I would have chinned him, but I also would have ended up in court and probably sacked. When it comes to sleazy horrible politicians. One word. Mandelson.
