No good with brown bread, I've sent the wife out to get some white.

A future TdN Winning Team?
-
Well after much deliberation I've taken the plunge and bought a 2008 KTM 450 EXC-R & free KTM toaster, for some dune bashing in Dubai.
Anyone any tips for running one in and what to look out for.

What's Batman and a Scouser got on common?
They won't go anywhere without Robin.

The Scott is as entertaining as any WTC, however I wouldn't call it fun. Fun to watch, but I don't suppose too many people think it fun to ride.
It is fantastic news Fuji is riding and its no secret that this boy is fast. So with Doug now riding a Beta 2 stroke, Fujigas and the expected challenge from Jarvis, it is going to be one hell of an event.
However with such a unique event anything can, and usually does, happen

These photo's don't really do the bike justice as they were taken from my mobile. One of the great things about the Montesa is that there are so many after sale factory parts available you can make your bike stand out.
-
Looks pretty much the same as my refurbed bike.
Montesa's have always been more than a colour change, its still the most technologically advanced trials bike on the planet.

Build bigger and more prisons and bang offenders up for longer.

Well done Jack another British Champion. What with the Olympics and Browny winning the Euro it hasn't been too bad a Summer for GB sport.
-
So has Fujigas put an entry in yet?
-
Sounds like my kind of people.
-
Its not the biking thats a problem, its finding a camel bak big enough and an air conditioned full face helmet.
-
If France is expensive try E Bay, Belgium was once up for sale on it.
-
Went into one of the off road bike shops and the first thing I saw was a 2008 Scorpa for sale, virtually brand new and a very reasonable price, the guy in the shop is looking into bringing some RTL's (4RT) from Japan as its a lot cheaper than UK. I may look into the option of buying one rather than having mine shipped out.
Tim, I've spoken to your mate DR, We are arranging to meet up at some point so he can give me some advice on riding out here. A KTM Enduro bike sounds very tempting but riding a bike in 47 degrees doesn't.

Does anyone have an advice on shipping a trials bike overseas, UK to UAE. How much its likely to cost and which companies / shippers are best to use.
Thanks

That would certainly appeal to Perce's wanting for trials to get back to basics. or should I say Baxter Basics.
-
At the back I think its either George McGee, Lee's Dad or Carlos the Jackall.
On second thoughts it is Carlos the Jackall.
-
I know about the what goes on the road stays on the road rules, so I won't ask about SCP.
Had a great time there last year, would loved to have come along with some of Teesside's finest, but unfortunately couldn't make it.

Problem is not to many people have a JCB kicking around the garage.
-
The lads a talent and its a big shame he's got such an injury. Lets wish him and his team all the best for a speedy recovery.
-
10p a litre in the UAE. However as at some point in the future I will come back home I have signed the petition.
I reckon its cheaper to fill up my car in Dubai than it is to fill my 1.6 litre 4RT flat tank in the UK. lol

Did they manage to have the National Anthem this time? Unlike last years Czech round, which also boasted an all British podium.
Well done to all the British riders.
-
The Japanese still have some pretty useful riders, hence their second place in last years TdN. Its a shame not more of them compete the full championship.
