  1. Great idea Charlie I think short notice may be your problem, otherwise I am sure you would fill the places easily, next year ,it might be worth considering fourstroke twinshock,it would be nice to see some CCM`s
  2. Try A Fiama F45 2.5 mtrs should be right for you,but there is longer available, a range of different mounting brackets, for most aplications, this seems to be where they catch you,as some brackets are almost
  3. Betor`s are ok for the money, but are not as good as a pair of Rockshocks,on a TLR .
  4. Volswagen T 5 , go for the five cylinder or the new four, Good on fuel , mega fast, but initial purchase could be expensive, good resale value. If you keep it tidy and low mileage, you could always do a camper conversion ,and still get strong money back for it ? Hiace is reliable, but if you dont get a turbo one it is a bit slow, not so good on fuel.
  5. Can anyone fill in a few details on the Whitlock Ossa. (or were they sold as a Gollner Ossa?) Was it only a frame kit of were complete bikes sold? What was the colour scheme on the fuel tank? Standard Ossa or something different. The ones I have seen are a dark blue. Did they have any other mods apart from the frame. Cheers. The frame kit was technically a Whitlock , Bob Gollner sold quite a few and usualy put Gollner on the tank, first one was 1972 I think, it was L registration, at this time there where bikes sold in crates as a kit , to avoid a tax, most where built with the standard green / white tank, But for certain the first one was blue/white

    M-80 Frame

Can you post a pic of the frame, there where some aftermarket frames about from about 1970 on, and then the Miller hiboys as well. does it have tubes in the bottom ?
  7. As Greeves , I have tried all three, and the same ,Rockshocks come out top overall, mainly because of the super service John Bull gives, nothing seems to much trouble when it comes to set up, also initial cost ,rebuildable ,etc. And these shocks have moved on in performance since John became the owner and added his input to the building.. Falcons are undoubtably also very good, if you can wait for delivery.
  8. Hi Lads Part of the problem is the dates, pre 65 means different thing to different people, depending on what they are trying to get accepted, pre 65 should mean up to Dec 1964,but some think a 1965 is ok ? there is a case for having another class say pre 68 or 70,as this would let in alot of interesting bikes, many of the villiers engined kit bikes, sprite ,elstar, cheetah ,etc plus other bikes like comerford cub, comerford B25,cotton minarelli, greeves anglian, greeves pathfinder and many more, but of course early spanish as well. and where are all the big pre unit, pre 65 bikes,at one time this was the bike to have and the premier class in pre 65, but most of the big bike riders are now on cubs and dots etc, (shame realy ) Also there are now younger people riding that other than what they read, realy dont know what is period and what is not.

  10. Bo dont think the one on ebay has the big barrel, look for one with a forward kickstart !
  11. If you had read the listing , you may have noticed that parts included with the frame, have been added to ,so perhaps that why ?

    Tl Hi Boy

I dont think either Eric or Mick made the TL 125 hi boy frames, Mick made some Bultaco hi boys, but not all.
  14. If it is sold prior to the auction end, it will be removed .
  15. Where the side cases not painted as original ??????
  16. Robin Humphreys , REH , made some big alloy barrels to fit the villiers 37a around 1968 it was 250cc , it was an option on the late manufactured Bob Gollner, Cheetah`s. but there could have been a 350cc one ?. due to the large size and shape ,they got nicknamed, the dustbin !
