I have the mould tooling to make the covers, Also the moulded seat pad tooling

The shock used was made by Falcon, and there is a unused modified mono s/arm listed on ebay from time to time, ( Ian at J A M Sport , I think ) I have the tank cover mould ,which is different to the twinshock one, as there is no flared parts for the shocks mounts.

Vanman There are TWO rubber seals one at the face the other at the rear,they fit into shallow recesses, if these have been missing for some time the brake pedal can get sloppy,and wear the hole. If you buy new seals try to get the ones with a metal outer cage,

CP191 I would advise caution with the above post !

CP191 Certainly the real deal !. except for part of the rear silencer box, which looks to have had a trail bike style rear end grafted on. Looks like the frame has been plated, ask your uncle ,was the frame ever painted blue ? bit of a story to this bike.

The 250 is a totaly different hub , bigger diameter brake drum, so bigger diameter brake shoes, straight pull spokes, uses the same spindle far better brake than the 200

Two models of 80cc small wheel (red tank), and the big wheel with the leading axle adaptor on the front forks, as for the blue tank model ,( some where 125) pretty sure it is single figures.

Oxboy is right, Whitehawk. very few where made in this size , possibly only six, will have a short wheelbase when built up, not realy suitable for an adult,

I take it you are talking 35mm TLR 200 forks ? the difference is the 250 forks are longer, but is is achieved in the damper rod ,slightly more travel, so possible to upgrade/modify 200 forks, but as quite a few people with 250s run the legs up through the top yoke, you may feel it is not worth the effort.

It is the Motoplastique one ,with the polyethelene inner tank ,£200 in gloss gell coat colour finish, and it fits properly, unlike some of the others, that the fork legs hit on full lock.

If it had not been for the date at the top of the page, I would have thought you where talking about Sammy Miller in the mid 1970s in the southern centre !

Well ,thats what bikes where like in 1967 ! pre spanish invasion. Just to put the record straight, the bike is fairly close to original, the disc front brake ,cable operated,was an option,made by REH,as where the forks, and barrel on the example on ebay, tank is correct,the exaust is not quite correct,and it would have had a alloy sidepanel on one side. Most where 1967 with the greeves square alloy barrel,

Ref Woodys comments on the tyres, he has a point, Has anyone thought how long tyre manufactures will carry on making tubed tyres,for trials, compared to tubeless ,tubed production levels must be less, will they eventualy decide to discontinue making them ? maybe not now, but in a few years time . As for Charlie`s the arguments for lower priced bikes, Simple, get the air cooled mono class going, far better option than people sticking two shocks on them, but be warned if that class became established, you will see the cost of Yamaha TY monos go up !

Are the betors all alloy ? or just part alloy. based on the steel version, IMHO Rockshocks would have to be the choice

If you trim your TLR frame back carefully ,close to the s/arm spindle, you can use the RTL outer cover and kickstart, You will need to make a new brake pedal, which can run up the inside of the frame.
