  1. The Ossa should be a LOT more bike for the price, since they're out of business. I'd be looking for a crazy deal on it, otherwise it wouldn't be worth the potential hassle (to me, YMMV).

    Fuel mixture

You need to adjust the air bleed screw. I'm going to bet your idle is pretty low, and you'll find if you get the bike in sixth gear and give it a handful it'll bog and or stall entirely. You need to back the air bleed screw out until the idle comes up. You'll know when it's right because it'll pull sixth gear cleanly.
  3. I suspect you could just file down the trailing edge of the kicker a little to get it to clear the peg.
  4. I can only remember having it happen a handful of times...
  5. I'm still confused what you're complaining about. The bike made the minimum weight with the added weight. Would you be less annoyed if it had been welded in place?
  6. Maybe they have an issue with trapped air in that location of the cylinder without it ... TRS has one in the same place fwiw.

    2018 TRS RR.

Engineers don't just fix broken things. They make continuous small improvements over time. Or, alterations are forced due to supplier changes, then just presented as 'improvements'. As marketing material it's a bit of a stretch, but all the manufacturers do it because they have no large changes to squeal about. But the changes are real, if a bit over exaggerated at times.
  8. Overly thick gloves and or grips can aggravate it, at least for me.

    2018 TRS RR.

There are tons of them around here. I'm not entirely clear what you're asking, but the only issues I've heard from owners are some gas tank swelling/leaking problems, which were all covered by TRS. Another guy is having some minor shifting issues when cold, but I suspect that's likely down to the gear oil he's running. I've heard of one guy who had his handlebar clamp bolts loosen up which caused a near disaster, but I have a hard time believing it was related to any sort of design flaw. Keep in mind TRS has the benefit of knowing about all the issues that affected other manufacturers throughout their time designing and manufacturing the bike (and I wouldn't doubt if a lot of the engineers had experience at various other trials bike outfits)... it's not like they did it in a vacuum where no trials bikes had ever existed. I'm not surprised it seems well sorted. That said, I personally haven't really developed a liking for it. The frame shape is just weird, and while it rides nicely enough, I haven't fallen for it. YMMV.
  10. Sure it's not just a bleed screw for the cooling system?
  11. Does that really factor in? I mean, it's not like he's going to go to Beta as #1 and suddenly beat Fajardo or Busto. I really only see that argument working if being number whatever has a real impact on results and I personally don't think it does in trials.
  12. Having a contract doesn't mean both parties are shackled together for the term of the contract. If they come to an agreement on how it could be dissolved, everyone goes on their merry way.
  13. Go ride them. Then decide. There really isn't a bad choice these days. For me, I just don't like the way the TRS looks. Plus I've been riding GG for so long I don't see much reason to change (again).

    Rubbish front brake

If you've gotten something on the disc, like brake fluid or grease, you're just destroying all the pads you put back on that disc. Make sure you clean the disc with brake cleaner before fitting new ones.
  15. Ok, I'm calling it now... 2018 WTC finishing order: - Bou - Busto - Raga
  16. "We [himself, Fuji, Bou] stopped being teammates to remain very good friends." Interesting line... some friction in there somewhere perhaps? "Dejamos de ser compañeros de equipo para seguir siendo muy buenos amigos."
  17. So where's he go? The only option sounds like Beta, and unless they want to run two guys, it looks like Dabil is going to fill that particular void.
  18. I got too wrapped up in the first line in the article, which is 'Cabby says goodbye'. It looks like the 'goodbye' in question is to the entire Sherco team he's been running with. If I had to guess I'd say he's done regardless, but I suppose we'll see...

  20. So my current 17 GG has umpteen hours on it. When I got my 18, the first thing I noticed was how much stronger the 17 was on the bottom. It's just wildly more powerful. They apparently loosen up a whole lot more than I'd have expected with some hours.
  21. I was under the impression Fajardo was already a done deal. I think the only question mark is Dabil.
  22. Yeah, seems pretty clear that Busto is gone, but where he went is as yet a mystery (ok, well, not so much a mystery as not yet announced :))
  23. You don't need a 'signal' (by which I think you're referring to a cell signal) to make a connection between your phone and the bike. The app in question is for the GET ecu, which is reportedly coming on the 2018 Vertigo bikes. Whether they're allowing user tuning via bluetooth (which is the only connection you need) on the Vertigo implementation I have no idea. But you can download the GET ecu app now, it's freely available for android and iphone.
  24. This can also happen just from air in the line. For similar reasons as when you've worn the pads too much, with trapped air the pistons can stop retracting, which means the pads drag more, which generates more heat, which makes the problem worse. If the pads look OK and the pedal is adjusted properly, with free play, make sure there's no air in the system.
  25. Wait, so you posted your number here (sorry, I missed it), some guy called you and said he saw your bike being sold (or knows of it being sold), but he won't give you his name or tell you who it is doing the selling? That's a little ridiculous...
