You can now get a TRS with a Reiger... for an additional $1000.00. I think the Olle is fine for most people, but the reality is that people want purple shocks. There's also a Keihin kit, although I don't think it's a factory option yet. I suspect the TRS will come standard with the Reiger and Keihin after 2017. Anyway, neither of these things were on my mind when I was considering the TRS, I just found that the steering geometry wasn't really what I like. It feels very upright, sort of Beta-ish I guess. But the bike is really well put together and designed.
  3. They look nice, but the engine braking is 4 stroke-ish, which I can see taking some getting used to.
  4. Any hand/foot pump is fine. You need a low pressure gauge.
  5. This is what happens when your riding season is only six months of the year... maybe you could at least put it off until the snow hits the grou.... Nevermind, too late. Carry on.
  6. All you need to know is that this happens every time there's a post about Canada and trials....
  7. Canada aside, WTC is a pretty poor choice of acronyms given the existence of the actual WTC...

I certainly heard it. But what raga does to a bike is not something mine would ever experience so I'm not too worried.

    I think he just mistyped...

From what I've read even all the preproduction trs's are still going strong. I don't expect you'd have any issues. As for the clutch, a lot of us are running modified GG clutches, so the pull is incredibly light. The stock TRS is definitely heavier, but it can be reduced by a little sanding of the Bellville spring.
  11. I use the same linkage guard. There's no need to remove the rubber absorbers.
  12. I've got 100 hours on my jitsie pegs. I've never had a big crash on them so I can't say how strong they are, and I've never had any reason to replace any of the pins. They're nice and wide, very comfortable.
  13. Sounds like too lean on the air screw from the way you describe it, but diagnosing noises over the internet isn't exactly an exact science.

Anyone ridden the 250 or 280? Any preference? Other opinions?
  15. He was. Junior champion I think.
  16. They make them for everything. Just call.
  17. It'll definitely be interesting to see how a recent world level trials rider fares in hard enduro. Jarvis is still the benchmark.

I'd guess in the 2-3k range...
  19. Every trials clutch, bar the odd unicorn, drags to some extent. Do the clutch mod as suggested... the Surflex clutch plates are fine, but they're just as bad in terms of glue spread all over the place as the stock clutch plates, so you'll want to clean them up as well. ARC (https://www.arclevers.com/) sells levers for just about everything.
  20. It looks to me like the top triple on the new model has a different design, namely a pinch bolt rather than a set screw. Can anyone confirm, and any thoughts on whether it helps at all with the constant stem adjustments needed on the GG?
  21. Here's another site advertising them... they even claim to have some available (just not in the funky color scheme): http://www.motostorm.it/en/clothing/boots/alpinestars-tech-t-boot-white-red.html
  22. Why the eff do companies keep releasing products with names that are basically non-searchable on the web? Tech T is about as bad as it gets.

2t. My '13 300 had an issue where, especially when hot, it just became really difficult to change gears because of all the clutch drag. It was better after the clutch fix, but still not great. I was never really clear if this was sort of normal for Beta's or not, but I gather not. The Factory 300 2t just sounds so amazing I'm tempted to try again.

Anyone have a 2016 factory 300? I'm wondering specifically if you've had any issues with hard shifting when the bike gets hot. I had a 2013 that drove me crazy (seriously dragging clutch, especially when hot even after the clutch fix), but the new factory sounds so amazing in tempted to put that out of my mind for now.

In the US the price difference is around $2000.00... ~1500 pounds.
