Ha Ha Happy days I had a Malaguti Cross and Pitley had a TY50. He used to blow down the petrol cap breather to get some more fuel in the carb when flat out. 28 years ago, where does the time go?

Regarding dating it ring Yamaha, they will tell you over the phone, sorry I no longer have the number. They will send you a letter also if you fancied registering it. Just a thought.

The air cooled mono is making a comeback, especially the TY. A fairly tidy pinky sold for a grand on ebay last week. TY monos are still affordable, I have just bought one while they still are affordable. Only thing that they need I think is the footpegs need lowering. Other than that you cant fault them. There are a couple of regular riders of said bikes on here that often come up in the results.You will never see me there mind you but there are those that do. PS most twinshock stuff is going through the roof price wise now so a good TY is not to be sniffed at. PS both clubs round here run A/C mono class.

What KTM were they off, do you remember? Thanks. PS how many Seeleys have you got ?

If you go to the francetrialclassic website and go to the English pages and bikes for sale there is a TY250 on there with a tidy looking late type kickstart. It may be one that they supply ???

Anyone here know if a standard set of hebo pegs will bolt straight on to a Seeley without getting the grinder or welder out, Or for that matter any of the other big pegs available.Thanks in advance

Got the front end out of the Majesty and discovered the bearings are nearly shot. Anyone here know if its possible to buy taper roller kits for the TY or do you have to buy the bearings and cups from Yamaha. Thanks in advance

Is that an upgraded version. They look nice when painted well, but the one on there doesn't hold much fuel.

Sorted the problems with my interweb. Good piece of film. Agree with Woody, nice to see all the twinshocks. The sidecars provide some smiles all round. They look like a friendly bunch having a good time. Fair play /

Downloaded the DivX thing to enable playing but the buffering does not move, played about 50 seconds and buffering logo shows bu it does not seem to buffer. Is it me ??

Well as an ex M/C mechanic it was always out for leaner and in for richer(shutting off the air) never the other way round. 3 x City and guilds in the subject. But as I tell folk I have forgot more than I ever knew.

Without going out to the shed and having a look that looks like a TLR/RTL top end you have on your bike. I may be wrong. If you dont need to sell dont sell. Not a good time to sell at present. Keep it, you know you want to. PS. Who made the silencer ??
