The frame didn't sell even after 7 revisions and knocked down to 299.99. Is he the same bloke who sold the tank/ seat units that looked good when painted but didn't hold much fuel as I remember ???

My thoughts exactly regarding the repair required. The start price will put people off as they like an auction to bid away at. I admit I don't know a lot about Bultacos but I did read in another thread on here that people only buy Hondas, Fantics and Yamahas

Scorpa had no broken frames or bottom end or gearbox problems. Not heard of CDI stator worries either. Clutch can be on or off but you can ride it a lot without the clutch. Read this months YOU HAVE USED WORDS OR A PHRASE WHICH ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THIS WEBSITE. PLEASE DELETE YOUR POST/TOPIC. DO NOT TRY TO CIRCUMVENT THE FILTERS IN PLACE ON THIS WEBSITE. They gave it the thumbs up. For a clubman the 125 seems friendlier than the 175. Very low maintenance as well, just like my better half.

I had a TY mono frame no started with 3BB that was a Japanese home market TY250r. It sounds like an earlier version maybe, they have a couple of things different to UK bikes. Mitsui Yamaha confirmed all the info for me. It is an S model if it has a steel tank and steering lock I think..

Cheers Alex. It takes as long as it takes to get yourself sorted out. But seriously DONT give it up, you know you can still be involved at the other end, observing etc. You will earn a lot of respect if you do a stint at it and at the same time besides helping the club you are doing it for the sport itself. On another forum I visit there are some running VW Caddy pickups and vans on used and some new chip oil. even buying it at the supermarket and pouring it in, a bit lumpy on start up but after a couple of minutes she's good to go. Not that I'd ever do anything like that...

After seeing you perform at a Saunders trials school I would say DON'T give it up, take a break maybe. Oh and as others have pointed out with the spare time on your hands why not brush up on your spelling.

Woody. Spot on, well done no excuses now. Sort the event out Majman and I will be the first observer to offer my services. I have helped organise some trials, set out and cleared out etc etc. So to learn a bit more I will do the decent thing at the trial that you set up and sort out and observe. Scorpa3 there is a lot of work involved in these events and many don't understand and ride week in week out .
PPS. Majman will need to join a club first.
