  1. Never confuse the laws of nature with the laws of man.
  2. Phwoar! Pity about her voice though.
  3. Them things with a Jesus nut?
  4. I beg to differ. It's almost as if the subject has become the "elephant in the room". There's no doubting Dougies acheivements but can he cut it with that young Spanish lad? Sadly the answer must be no. But then nor can anybody else. We all know that that rider has a finite life in trials and it seems that, barring a fantastic ride from Doug (and he came close in Scotland last year) or a fiasco from Bou we would be getting ahead of ourselves to expect another WTC victory from him. As far as enduros are concerned, as I mentioned in my previous posting, we can expect a lot more from Dougie.
  5. Your link says nothing about whether he was certified to fly nor whether he had permission to take up his sons mate.
  6. I know it's counter intuitive but you can have a much longer career in enduros than trials. A fair few years ago Alessandro Gritti won the overall at the ISDT/ISDE when he was 40.
  7. The buildings will be part of Jordi Robinats portfolio. I'll leave the rest to you..
  8. Yeah boy... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rFSZdH6Zq9s
  9. Spark erosion. Basically the faces of the points are trying to weld themselves together when they open. It's this collapsing magnetic field that is "boosted" in the coil. Spark erosion is used in the mold and die industry to erode detail in the molds/dies that other machining cannot acheive.
  10. DIARY OF A POMMIE IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA August 31 - Just got transferred with work from Leeds UK to our new home in Karratha, Western Australia . Now this is a town that knows how to live! Beautiful, sunny days and warm, balmy evenings. I watched the sunset from a deckchair by our pool yesterday. It was beautiful. I've finally found my new home. I love it here. September 13 - Really heating up now. It got to 31 today. No problem though. Living in air-conditioned home, driving air-conditioned car. What a pleasure to see the sun every day like this. I'm turning into a sun-worshipper
  11. Somebody finally found a use for all those ex-Soviet ICBM launch vehicles made redundant by SALT 3
  12. The Rev3 used an offset shock. Beta did it years ago with an enduro bike. Two shocks, each on a linkage. Personally I don't see the point. One of the benefits of single shock bikes is that the shocks are far less prone to damage. I've bent shocks on twinshock bikes more than once. Not a big deal, just remove shock and belt it against a tree, but still an annoyance.
  13. Yoram, just drain the Hebo tank first. The first group might be a bit dodgy but after that you should be OK.
  14. Young Ishy's got some top stuff in his yard.
  15. Thanks. It was the Bilstein round I was thinking of.
  16. I was only pulling your leg.
  17. Where was the Belgium round of the WTC held? Bilstein?
  18. of course you cut out all this training/practicing malarky and get a powerband
  19. You must have looked a right pratt
  20. Use those squeezee things that you can find in sports shops. They usually sell in pairs so I leave one in my car. For forearm strength tie a bit of rope to a brick and wrp the other end round a peice of broomstick and try to wind the brick up the broomstick and then down, then up..you get the idea?
  21. You want pressure? Try landing on a full beer can.
