  1. Get on to GasGas249uk (http://www.trialscentral.com/forums/user/1213-gasgas249uk/). He regularly visits the factories and should be able to help
  2. Yeah but he's been there for years. Did they take away his computer time then?

  4. There's a certain former world trials champ whose son (also a trials rider of considerable ability) works at CERN.
  5. Dons and Fumihero Katos (sp?). John, have a look on the superstars trial.(see below) you can see quite a lot of the bikes in that vid.

    Bigger Tank

Billy Craig is your man. He rode the SSDT on a 125 Gasser with a big tank.
  8. Tim decided to marry his long time girlfriend. One evening, after the honeymoon, he was cleaning his golf shoes. His new wife was standing there watching him. After a long period of silence she finally spoke. “Tim Darling now that we are married I think it's time you gave up golf. Perhaps you should consider selling your clubs." Tim looked horrified. She said, “Darling, what's wrong?" "There for a minute you were sounding like my ex-wife.” Tim replied. “Ex wife!” she gasped, “You didn't tell me you'd been married before!" “I haven't!” He replied.
  9. That you know what a rim job is is, in itself, worrying
  10. Dear god! How do two guys do that on their own? Respect! I've seen 2 lancs, one at the RAF museum and one at MOTAT in Auckland. They are a big aeroplane.
  11. Laura, have a look here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tom-margie/2098268711/. Sniff around and they are some other pics of that world round.

  13. JSE (Jon Stoodley) had a good write up recently on FB about what he did to his brakes.
  14. Looks like a fairly standard master cylinder from a late '80's early '90's mx or enduro bike. Any Honda/Suzuki/Yamaha/Kawasaki dealer should have one.
  15. WHAT! You mean you don't get naked girls in jacuzzis, free booze? Where's our license money going? Actually I was thinking of the costs of installing the infrastructure (cable run from closest telephone exchange, gensets, routers etc). The cable run will be very expensive if it isn't already there and is, in telco parlance a repayable, meaning the customer pays for it. Considering the distance that the venues can be from the nearest exchange these costs can be very large indeed. With venues like Motegi it's already there so no biggie in that case.
  16. Because it's a world OBSERVED trials championship and not a time and observed championship.
  17. Here's a another idea Dave: how much does that last section cost? Just dump it. If the venue is right there should be no probs finding a fifteenth section. Dump the obligatory "corporate hospitality" carp. Dump the hugely expensive press facilities etc....Bring the costs of organisation down.
  18. Tom, it might be an idea to get one or both of the Le Riche brothers up from SA for a visit. I think they'd be qite keen to lend a hand. Pity you missed him by a few years but an old riding buddy of mine from Jo'burg used to live in Nairobli.

I thought the stuntman was Jean Pierre Goy but it seems it was Rob Herring (http://www.visordown...ring/14119.html) and he says he used a CRF450. Dunno
