This is the first i've heard of this. Why didn't you say something to me directly? Anyone who has a copy that won't work can return it and will get a free replacement. I've always done it that way. These disks are now duplicated by a 3rd party and I can't watch everyone all the way through to check them. To remind you, this was your initial comment. "Got mine yesterday and watched it tonight, superb viewing, great production and massive respect to the riders"

Mark I did promise you one but its never been sent out. I'll get that fixed now. Can you remind me your address via PM please.
  7. We have a Heidenau, a Mitas, a Dunlop and a Michelin up for grabs at the charity auction. Make a bid(s) and try them out for yourself.

Did you work out the last few tracks from Monday. If not you really shouldn't have the DVD.

Tight git! Why not spend the money you saved on some of those wonderful charity auction items. I'm taking bids now.

Carb cleaner or a good degreaser is better then WD40. That said WD40 will disolve a lot of what you're trying to get rid off. Fresh petrol will also work but a can of carb cleaner is only a few quid from any bike or autoparts shop and well worth it.
  11. Stuart They do but a road tyre and trials tyre are very different animals. I've never used one but understand they are quite hard like the other smaller makes. My understanding is that if you want grip over price its down to Dunlop, Michelin or IRC. People seem to like the IRC but I've not tried one yet. Its on to do list.
  12. Nose weight is important (legally) but in my experiance you won't notice the bike on the back. I've travelled half the length of the country on a few occations in different sized cars with racks and all have been fine and handled well. The other advantage of a rack over a trialer of even van is you're not so restricted by speed limits.

simple enough...... Yes I think he is. Stuart, your PM mailbox is full. Can you empty it so I can PM you.
  14. OK that's the donation list reached 50 lots. This is really turning in to something xc-ting Where else can you get a chance to have a great night out in the company of world champion riders and bid on such a selection of great trials items many of which are unique? If you are in Fort William for the Friday you really must get tickets for this party now.

Jon could well be right and its a good starting point but it the key is intact try swapping out the voltage regulator module. They aren't that expensive and I've had two go on a 2004 and 2006 bike. They did exactly what you describe. Basically water gets in between the potting and the electronics and start shorting out until the short blows the electronics up. If won't start after that or if it does it will only run a few seconds and electrically break down again. Gas Gas UK will have the regulators in stock.
  17. I think I'm right in saying that any dealer can handle the warrantee claim for you. You don't need to go back to the one you bought it from. This is in European law. Try phoning Garry at Highland Leisure Sport in Invergordon. That's not 400 miles away. You should have bought from him in the first place given how much support he gives to Scottish trials.
  18. Nice one Mark. Thanks for your help.
  19. I'd love to but as I understand it there are some very tight restrictions on publishing video footage from world rounds. Maybe Jake can clear it up as the Kickstart event may be outwith these restrictions. Edit: I'm now working on it. Would be good to put a short video together for it.
  20. I think the parking is somewhat out of the organisers control. I've been to other events and parking at the cattle mart is always charged with much if not all the proceeds going to charity. I think the mart rather than the event organisers are who is charging. As Gavin says, there are shuttle buses which at MTB events work very well.
  21. Me too. Remember to get you tickets ordered for the bash on the ben. Its going to be an event not to be missed.
  22. No but he may have plowed straight through the wall instead.
  23. Footage and cockpit recording have been released by the FIA showing that Hamilton asked Mclaren if Button was going to be allowed to pass and was told no. See the last quarter of the video at http://www.formula1.com video feed Turkey 10 Lewis we need you to save fuel Both Cars are doing the same Jenson's closing in me you guys Understood Lewis If I back off is Jenson going to pass me or not? Hopefully you will have read elsewhere about the trialscentral.com part on the ben and charity auction during the upcoming UK world rounds at Nevis Range. The Edinburgh and District Club have donated a bunch of stuff but the BIG news is they have offered a guaranteed and fully paid entry to the 2011 SSDT. This has a face value of
