  1. as said previously, other cnc'd sprockets with the pockets right through are cheaper
  2. You must be hitting the sprocket off the rocks at 3omph to bend them plenty of other cnc machined sprockets out there that would take longer to machine than that which are cheaper tolerance doesn't effect anodising, surface finish does which in this case is irrelevant
  3. machined for strength, how many failures have there been unbelievable!!
  4. How can a sprocket with less machining than ever before cost more than ever before, http://www.trialsuk.co.uk/products/jitsie-recessed-enclosed-rear-sprocket Utter nonsense.

any pics of the monoshock 490
  6. depends how long you keep the bike. if you change it within the year it wont give you any problems but for the next guy it could be a different kettle of fish.

490 mono shock- was an absolute animal!! some machine
  8. that is true, but in the 80's they were.
  9. just like the 80's spain is going to be home to many different trials marks. Good for them
  10. The new evo factory is a great looking tool, night and day from the 2014 model saying that I don't see the point of 2 colour schemes. http://www.trialscentral.com/headline-stories/15712-2014-factory-beta-revealed
  11. why so many old photos of lampkin on the website, also who is the rider in the logo?
  12. hello there, no such thing as waterproof trials boots. They will surely leak after a short period of time
  13. Thats not relevant. The worst riders on the easy route still like their evo factorys and repsol replicas
  14. the problem on the gear boxes was with the 2003 and earlier models I believe, we had 2 renault trafics never missed a beat- 4 bikes no problem just put a tyre or kit bag between them all.
  15. that photo as posted above is ancient.
  16. Is Karlson not on a factory yoke then>?
  17. Yes this is correct, When I was out practicing with Bou before Christmas he was telling me that this would be announced officially in the new year.
  18. what about the old XPA whatever happened to it, did one ever get made?
  19. thats one thing I love about the 4rt, there is so many different exotic things that can be done to them
  20. this is true, but new manufacturers springing up won't help things. Look at Ossa selling 900 bikes a year- what use is that?
  21. it sounds like a dragster, there are loads of videos of kuroyama on youtube. Id say its basically a 2008 scorpa 4 stroke breathed on though, probably using lots of titanium to get the weight down and magnesium also. Nice looking bike. As for the point about Honda, Ogawa etc rode the 4rt's badged as hondas.
  22. yeh thats where I seen it. Career over, him and Gubian and Challoner. But then with no money about at the moment and probably no other offers what can these guys do.
