This is our 11th year with betas, (up until recently is was 2 new ones each year) and ours were sealed up and left on, it wasnt silicone seal, i will get the name of it and post it here just in case anyone wants to go down that route anyway.
-
they did move the pegs back, im not sure if buying new hangars would do this for you, i dont think they changed the frame up until this year?
-
seal it up and leave it on.
-
i left mine as it is, i never use first gear maybe something to consider.
-
Yes, the red fat bars look well.
Beta Rev3, i change my bike every year because it loses too much money if its kept any longer, i also have a maintenance free year (touch wood) and i think if a bike is being rode every week after it gets over the year mark the maintenance required gets more and more. I save a set amount each month to allow me to change each year
-
-
why do you not just stop spending your money on ****e and save it up and buy a new bike each year.
-
tip it upside down to flood it.
-
brillant event which i have done 3 times, pity steam packet have f****d it up with their ludicrous sailings and prices
-
if you oput two similar metals together they will bind up, two dissimilar ones is a new one on me.
-
The Pinky was fitted with a floating disc.

Dabill had a great result but there is no point in getting carried away just yet as he was miles off the pace .
Surely if lampkin has won 7 titles and tarres has won 7 titles they are as good as each other? both of them were dominant in their day.
-
This is one reason why i think minders should be banned, unless maybe to catch at the top of a big step.
-
I disagree. I believe when Doug thinks he can no longer win then he'll chuck the towel in.
No Way! I say he'll chuck the towel in when the $ from Honda stop.

-
all i do, is adjust it to take the sag out of it, and monitor it after this.
-
Dabill seems to have gotten on well with the montesa, however i predict that blazusiak and fajardo have wrecked their careers moving to beta,
-
Listen, i appreciate where some of you guys are coming from, but i have had new betas each year since 1998. Never once have i had a problem with a carb and i think the electrics have ballsed up once in 2001 i think. touch wood. My last few rev 3's have never had the carb off nor the plug changed and that includes doing the manx 2 day. Another point is that i seal around the flywheel cover to keep the damp out. I think to many guys work and a*** about with their bikes when they dont know their arses from their elbows to be honest.
-
Just leave it alone it donest need messing with. seriously.
-
They probably couldnt keep up with the wrecking jeremy was doing.
-
yeh it was me  you tosser
-
Yep thats it. He was abusing his status anyway who cares i think he's a ****** just like you lot think i am .
-
I have a 270 and the only thing i have done is put a slow action throttle on it. It made some difference. Sorry i cant be more helpful.
-
well for a start i never mentioned the Lampkin family so all of the idiots who have said that i said the lampkins werent ambassadors for the sport- get your facts right.
As for Dougie i remember being at a british round a few years ago and Dougie fived a section, the observers young lad was marking the score card and the young lad was clearly in awe of Lampkin. Dougie told him it was a not a five but a three needless to say the young lad punched a 3 on Dougies card. Now you guys can say all you want, call me a liar i for one dont mind, i was there and saw it with my own eyes and to be honest i have never rated dougie as a person since he pulled that move. Someone said MBE says it all, everyone doesnt know the full story about everyone.
