On the TY Yam I managed to smash the engine cases both magnesium and pattern by hitting the sump guard After 10 betas I have never smashed one.

the cage must be titanium id say to keep it light weight. I think he had surgery and plates fitted, maybe the cage will be a permanent fixture. Fair play to him bet he is glad to be back on the bike.

can i suggest one thing to you re cosmetics, a bit picky I know considering the excellent job you have done. If it were mine I would look for a head light and fit it and a new sticker - just for completeness. It really is a fantastic job !

i was on the phone with Fumi, he was always tied in with Scorpa and so because they are now back on the world scene they thought it would be nice to let him use the new scorpa as a special one off yamaha for the jap round.

not as straight forward as that I'm sure? I don't think Kuroyama can develop the 2008 4 stroke scorpa much more and I think thats why ogawa is beating him now. Interesting to see if they do something different for Japan or else pull out.

Bet it would sell more badged as a Yamaha than badged as a scorpa

you are the only tool here at the moment. Offered a new Mont or a new Beta I'd pick the beta, at least I'd be able to make it grip on something other than tarmac

sure the sections in Japan were hopeless, man made sections. typical sections i saw were ride over a huge rock, 20 feet of flat ground, up a small hill and then another huge rock. no flowing natural terrain at all. each rider stops about 400 hundred times in a section and gets away with it or is it stop allowed again scorpa in yamaha livery looks nice though.
