    My 08 stator packed in, ok it was replaced for free but its not the point, it was 2 months old.
  2. Just slightly bend the bracket a bit, if you use washers to spacer it all your doing is pulling the top out and pushing the bottom in even closer to the tyre.

    My mate had the same problem, you just got to get your hand in your pocket im afraid. as for the guy knowing........i doubt it.
  4. i have always had Michelin rear tyres, but the local shops cant seem to get any at the moment, so, i was thinking of trying one of the new dunlops, they are the same price or maybe even an IRC? just wondering if anybody had tried the new dunlops or an IRC and how they compare to the Michelin. any feedback (good or bad) thank you
  5. My mate did the same, a couple of little screws and it was job done.
  6. Ive got white alpinestars and when i wash the bike with hot soapy water and sponge i do my my boots at the same time, it works a treat.

  11. Mine is the same it done my head in so much ive just took it off altogether, the bike is running spot on at the moment, obviously ill have to put it back on if it plays up.

    It probably is the seals although when you take waterpump housing off you might find the casing is corroded and have trouble sealing it with the o ring when you put it back on, you may be lucky though fingers crossed, ive had a stator go on the 02 as well. hope i havent put you off.

    Yes i took it back today, they think its the stator i will find out tomorrow.

    Been out on bike today when all of a sudden it just died, i changed the plug disconnected the kill switch checked all the wires and still nothing, it looks like its the dreaded stator, anyone one else had problems.

  20. I expect someone will chirp up about them being heavier than a 2 stroke, but you only notice that if you get the bike stuck somewhere and have to hump it out!! Naa not today.
