  1. Good looking bike, first get the punters eye, rest is up to performance. In the drawing it shows the motor with a basket type clutch and fuel inj, but can't see much of the throttle body on the show bike.

    One Sick Pro

I think the reason you couldn't find what caused the problem, you kept going until it had ground it to ******* bits.
  3. Is Canon city stock ranch, and the location of this years round's at Cotopaxi one and the same place ?
  4. Slapshot, if your goiing to stop the puck with your head, please wear your helmet.
  5. Can always count on the Ishmeister to tell it how it is! Exactly how is it? It's like this! you seem to have this big woody for Lane, and your starting to sound like him, on and on and on, about him getting canned, well he's gone, been gone for a long time and the future doesn't look too rosey for Lanes world, get ower it.
  6. Is that the guy who's slipping you a length or what
  7. I must agree with you on that, I thought I could load the kid's up and take a week at both, but they get off a couple of weeks after the first one and go back the week of the 2nd, if that is the only time they can stage the event's not a lot you can do about it, well at least I won't have to listen to "are we there yet" for three bloody days. Any one know the location of the Colorado event ?
  8. It cost me over $3000 to ride the Scottish this year, no gripes I wanted to do it, made it my vacation. I still don't know any other motor sport that you could attend and compete at National level for the figures you mention above. I can see your point if you don't think it's value for money, but some do and get a lot of enjoyment out of it. It will be interesting to see how many riders do attend the two weekend's, I would think an average entry in the past is 100, I think we will see a lot more enter, but we will have to wait and see. As far as the NATC is concerned, all monies raised from entry fees goes back into running more nationals, entries, course markings, results, year end awards, website, annual meeting, no paid positions all volunteer work.
  9. For a two location series, maybe they could come up with two clubs willing to host in 09 before Aug 08, then sort other NATC business at the Duluth rounds, hold a meeting in the Ski lodge, day before or after, it would save a lot of travel and hotel expenses if they could have the meeting at a time and location most of the NATC reps will be at.
  10. How much are they ? I still think under this format the cost of doing the national series will be at least halved, people will have to take less time off work, as it only requires you attend two three day event's. The importers should save a fortune, on travel alone, an dthose riders who are having a crack at a few world rounds will be able to fit them in without conflicting dates. The two clubs hosting the event's will make at least a third more, for the hard work. And I think more riders will take on the full series. However I have heared that the reason for this format was lack of clubs to host event's, on the bright side it may of done the series a favor. We can only wait and see what the first round entry list looks like, hope it's a long loop, 200 entries would soon bunch up on a two or three mile loop.
  11. What a good idea, 6 event's two trips, problem could end up being too many entries -May, 24, 25, 26 Colorado -August 22, 23, 24 Duluth, MN Now if the FIM could do the same, 3 days in June and mebe three in September they might be able improve entries.
  12. Time to start thinking about supper, no bugger thought much of what's 4ourtea.
  13. First thing he said "Saturday was the infamous Scott Trial where we had a good run of results.... Congratulations first must go to Dougie Lampkin who absolutley blitzed everyone with a fine win. " Good on him, hope he keeps posting
  14. If you have ever tried getting live bodies to cover the duties of a club event, you can totaly understand what a task it must be for event's like the Scott and SSDT. The rules on the topic have been clearly stated, so anyone caught breaking the rules, will! and have in the past been disqualified. So I think the answer to the question is, the club don't allow it and will enforce the rules if they catch anyone breaking them.
  15. who perce or tubby? surprisingly these are two different people. Aye he let me know, but you quoted it

I bet the buttie van will give Doug more of a challenge than DJ
  18. Robin Williams' plan... (Hard to argue with this logic!) "I see a lot of people yelling for peace but I have not heard of a plan for peace. So, here's one plan." 1) "The US will apologize to the world for our "interference" in their affairs, past & present. You know, Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Tojo, Noriega, Milosevic, Hussein, and the rest of those "good ole boys", we will never "interfere" again. 2) We will withdraw our troops from all over the world, s tarting with Germany , South Korea , the Middle East , and the Philippines They don't want us there, anyway. We would station troops at our borders. No one allowed sneaking through holes in the fence. 3) All illegal aliens have 90 days to get their affairs together and leave. We'll give them a free trip home. After 90 days the remainder will be gathered up and deported immediately, regardless of whom or where they are. They're illegal!!! France will welcome them. 4) All future visitors will be thoroughly checked and limited to 90 days unless given a special permit!!!! No one from a terrorist nation will be allowed in. If you don't like it there, change it yourself and don't hide here. Asylum would never be available to anyone. We don't need any more cab drivers or 7-11 cashiers. 5) No foreign "students" over age 21. The older ones are the bombers. If they don't attend classes, they get a "D" and it's back home baby. 6) The US will make a strong effort to become self-sufficient energy wise. This will include developing nonpolluting sources of energy but will require a temporary drilling of oil in the Alaskan wilderness. The caribou will have to cope for a while .. 7) Offer Saudi Arabia and other oil producing countries $10 a barrel for their oil. If they don't like it, we go someplace else. They can go somewhere else to sell their production. (About a week of the wells filling up the storag e sites would be enough.) 8) If there is a famine or other natural catastrophe in the world, we will not "interfere." They can pray to Allah or whomever, for seeds, rain, cement or whatever they need. Besides most of what we give them is stolen or given to the army. The people who need it most get very little, if anything. 9) Ship the UN Headquarters to an isolated island someplace. We don't need the spies and fair weather friends here. Besides, the building would make a good homeless shelter or lockup for illegal aliens. 10 ) All Amer icans must go to charm and beauty school. That way, no one can call us "Ugly Americans" any longer. The Language we speak is ENGLISH...learn it..or L EAVE...Now, isn't that a winner of a plan? "The Statue of Liberty is no longer saying "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses." She's got a baseball bat and she's yelling, 'you want a piece of me?' " If you agree with the above forward it to friends...If not, and I would be amazed, DELETE it!! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  19. Observer, most valued person on the hill in my opinion, game isn't has much fun without them. If your not riding for a wage, that cuts it down to about four, your just playing like every bugger else. However I have found over the couple of years I have ridden trials, the best way to get the benefit of any doubt, is treat the observer with respect, by all means question a call if you think it's wrong, but except your score without getting p****d and roosting off throwing toys out. I don't know you Matt, but your posts come across in a manner that makes me think you could wind any observer up the wrong way. I think you will see the time when riders have to observe each other full time, and some great events will no longer be possible, because the observer is past or no longer willing to do the job.
  20. I think it would then have fewer taking part than do now ?
  21. 2 or 10 rounds both had just the same challenge, one won.
  22. Helmet, cyclops, one eye, blind, what good would a light be
  23. Sod it!! we would of been two place's higher up the score board if Bob hadn't fived that last section, he let the team down.
