  3. A recent pic I seen of a WWI German sub control room. This was little as compared to the battleship I visited.

  14. I found the leak. See the blue spot on the plastic like? There is a pinhole there. Shot through the clear water later that evening. I just got to break a bit more concrete!
  15. I miss having a lot of money, never had it, so I spent Easter afternoon breaking the concrete in my drive to find my water leak! Yes that crap is about six inches thick there, and as soon as I broke through it filled with muddy water. Notice where pants are, call me buttcrack!

  23. I could tell you horror stories about off brand plugs in various applications. Stick with what works!!! Or be your own test pilot! Trust me, there is someone out there that will sell you a POS like the China made E3 and laugh while you cry!

    In a case like that, and the fact you have SOME voltage, at least something is working. A shorted regulator will take system voltage down, as it simply shunts it to earth. Unplug the regulator and re test at idle only to avoid excess voltage, if the voltage comes up, regulator is faulty. Rectifier open or shorted can have similar effect, unplug it! Fan will not run without it because fan requires DC voltage, but a 12V light bulb does not care, or switch DVOM to AC and see where you are at. Have you tested the motor itself? Requires a separate 12V battery to power it. Checking the stator coil continuity is easy enough. Disconnect it and ohm it out to earth on motor. Should have continuity, and resistance is quite low, I think 3-5 ohms sounds about right.
