  1. All timing would be based off crankshaft sensor I suppose, as I have never worked on t Mont. If you suspect a stuck open injector causing flooding it may be possible to attach the hose end of a handheld vacume pump to the nozzle end of the injector. It should hold vacume if the injector is closing as it should. M2C

    the fan sensor will not work if all the coolant has leaked out to yhe trans as it has no coolant to sense.
  9. Requires a spigot adapter and correct cable. Inlet rubber as well I think. Call splat shop to be sure. Not too hard to do.
  10. I rode a 4T Sherco prior to the SPS and it worked pretty well, however I think they still used a different atomizer tube on them. The SPS carbs became available to change them out but I am not sure it is practical to convert one.

  19. On that old Techno I would not be overly concerned about is as long as they are running smooth. May have been that way since new!

  22. Switch has two wires. One connects to frame earth, other connect to CDI, black wire as I recall?

  24. Yikes! It does appear to be repairable as it is easily welded. The material is basically SAE 4130 CrMo. Tig welding would be best, and I would fabricate doublers for the top pieces.
