    Brian, are you going?

    Lets pick on ZIPPY!
  3. The Sherco is a powerful bike for sure if you twist it! The one I rode with the "good" carb was perfect, and that was before the kits were out! I did not intensionally stall it hot, though. And yes I would certainly consider one EFI or not, the simpler the better. I hate things that are difficult to fix in the field!

I can tell you the mods work BETTER on a 2.5 than a 2.9, real pussycat! At least that was the case on my '05, Throttle first, Timing change, second Boyesens then if it still seems too sharp! Ride it between mods till you find your liking, you can always kick the timing up a bit as you get more comfortable. As I too have problems with my old right wrist, I don't use a slow throttle, just mellow the bike, still plenty of power that you cannot get in a smaller displacement.

I would put 1 more tooth on the front, but what do I know, I ride a Sherco! But you asked! Suppose I should add the fact that I have ridden a 125 Raga with a 200 top!
  6. The way it FITS! The caliper has to align with the disc, so go figure! Clue " L=L", from the front!

When they say Snow, they mean LOTS! Specially in some states 2-3 ft for months on end! Opposite here, 100f for months on end! We seldome ride in the mid summer, it will kill you! However we do a mid summer eve/morn 2 day, just for giggles. Last year it was 105f at the start! A cool 80f the next AM start, lot more by the finish! More of a race than anything, timed event! Loops averaging about 15min. ea! After a rest, do another! The good thing is you can drink 2L out of a camelback and never stop to pee!
  8. Smaller size a plus, I looked at one today. Will the 18-55 lens work well enough as I think? Talking trials here!
  9. I suppose it is cheaper to rent! Said the same thing to the spouse, did'nt go over too well!
  10. For that matter, just face it and use the sealer and chunk the o-ring. I will work till the next time you bash it!
  11. I understand that Ishy may get homesick, but how many US riders do we have in the Scottish? Ish and Geoff? Do you get a free ride for being from the US? How do you get a bike across the globe, and or what do you do with it when you are done?
  12. The air will obviously expand somewhat as the forks warm up. I always compressed mine and let air out to allow the front to settle before a tight turn section to decrease the rake. Of course your O-rings need to be good and not leak as well for them to hold the pre set air! Minor differences can sometimes make a change! Or is that the other way around?
  13. Thats 25 of the quid things! Get a new one!
  14. It is on the RYP site!
  15. That must be a pic of Donald's German barmaid roomates! He is not telling all that happened after they got him drunk!
  16. Yes, I can't find that post right now, but I have been highly offended by the posts submitted by Mr Johnny Ringo and take them as a personal attack upon my character. Just because I said that he SUCKED does not give him permission to go on a rant like a little girl and say the things he did to hurt my feelings. I am very sensitive to such things and do not expect to be humiliated on this forum by such a brute and bully so THERE you bad boy Ringo. Do I sound like I'm from Cali, yet? NOT!
  17. Another opinionated Canook! Welcome aboard! Do you know Ringo?
  18. No, but I have not found it neccessary!
  19. Reba is from Arkansas as I recall. I worked with one of her cousins for many years. Seems she always made a point to make the family reuinions. I see none of you blokes admit to German holidays! Sorry about that Slapshot, I bought a new CD burner/ drive last week for the old pos in the shed, and guess what? It would not even read it's own software disc! Crap! Its a SONY! My a***!
  20. Actually, an intellegent thought did cross my mind. A press team representing TC, three or four of us taking a few sections each and trading off. All pics go to TC! I'm talking about a few like myself, Craig, Andy and ? More complete coverage, more MPEG, more stuff to watch and sell! I might justify a new DSLR to the wifey by then! The old Cannon is crap! I only have about 25yrs of amature and underwater experience!

You see what I mean!!!!!! Why do you need a fresh top end to haul around the same old butt?
  22. copemech replied to chader's topic in USA Trials
We always seem to have a few riders that come down to TX and OK every winter due to snow sickness! You are always welcome!
  23. I am just not sure that Johnny is 100 percent comfortable with that response, Dan. I seem to detect an unusual vibe of friction there! Oh well, he did'nt make the last one either!
  24. Stop, Don't, Stop, Don't,Stop,Don't,Stop!!!!!!!!!! rotfl!
  25. What about my calender? Oh crap, this means more work! And beer and----!!!!
