  1. Apex of the Patella, nasty injury, he's done well to keep riding never mind do so well.
  2. A commonly used method is to place red dots around someones desk and office/work space. The aim is that it reminds them to move back into the posture they've been taught is correct as its easy to slump forward through fatigue etc. The same goes for handlebars, unless you make your living riding its possibly better that someone stands alongside you while you alter/move things to get spine in a more natural position. Riding may suffer in the short term but your back will thank you for it and you'll still be a trials rider in your old age (unless you look after your back and neglect everything else) The more you slump into forward posture the less mobility you have, I get to see it on a daily basis as my clinic is at a T junction, I see lots of people having to turn their whole body because the neck won't turn enough anymore. By the time they've moved back into a driving position they need to check again
  3. Well I'm British so I know nothing about cricket
  4. I have no idea what current state your in so I suggest visiting your MD etc to rule out any issues such as osteoporosis etc. A thoracic curve should measure between 30 to 35
  5. Well done lads, will be good to see how they do moving up early
  6. Bought it and watched it yesterday, great DVD, I'd forgotten how deep the water was.
  7. Not watched it yet, but top marks for delivery. Paid yesterday and it arrived this morning. Looking forward to watching it
  8. Looks fun, have always wanted a go on one.
  9. I used a BUPA low profile one which worked fairly well and I managed to ride in it fairly well. My left, which was a more serious case needed one from technology in motion but its wasn't very easy to ride in. BUPA Technology In Motion Might see you at BSSA trial then
  10. Was a little slow on the road in Scotland, 45ish apart from a day when i was almost out of time I'm worried about keeping up every year in the Scott but the bikes capable of doing it as it flew over the moors in Scotland. Just need to get myself up to the same level
  11. Not found much mine won't get up. Coming from a 300 i occasionally doubt it but theirs always enough power. Fairly big hillclimb at todays Novagar and i can remember struggling last year on my Raga but flew up it today. You have to ride the bike a lot more which is why i wanted one. Think my riding is benefiting
  12. Had a go on a 200 Evo last night after a trial and was amazed by it. I dropped from a 280 Gas Gas to a 125 for the same reason and I think its paying of as I feel more in control.....other may argue that I'm still just as out of control as before though
  13. Theirs a pic of them in one of my albums on Facebook Facebook Link Add me and I'll be able to accept from my blackberry. Can't access it to post it for you. I think its in an album entitled SSDT CSMA 2009 or something similar.
  14. Seem to remember Colley sticking his Gas Gas in the back of his Williams Clio to go and do a European Indoor round.
  15. Well its not my first choice of place to practice but its perfectly suitable for novices upwards. I used it for several days to train my friend and he found the climbs, roots and small rocks more than enough and enjoyed his visits. When he lost the ability to breath i borrowed the bike and found enough to occupy me until he could breath again. Plus, so far its the only option surely their must be some other places!?
  16. Nice bit of ground to suit anyone, not really expert teritory but theirs a few big steps if you look hard enough. Few rocks, logs etc all set on the side of a hill so you can make it tricky
  17. Thanks for the sponsorship, its greatly apreciated. Soz if I don't say thanks directly as its hard to put names to faces. I've left my macbook behind but will be updating my facebook page and twitter with how its going through the week. Arrived this afternoon and got caught in a little shower. New raga looks nice :-) looking forward to tomorrow when it all gets a bit more active.
  18. Yeah i heard, pretty lucky getting his boots back after all this time. He might need them after scotland. See you when I'm back
  19. Theirs 3 of us at 106, 107 and 108
  20. I'll send you his mobile then. Not sure if he'll have left for scotland or not though. If you wanna PM me your mobile I'll send it him in case you can't get through.
