Hi,i've run Talon for nearly 2 years,not had to turn them yet.On the chain topic,i use an industrial grade TYC brand,got a 5 metre box last year,split it between 2 of us,just put my last piece on 2 weeks ago,wash it with Gunk,to get the preservative coating off then soak it in gear oil,do the same every 2 trials.best 30 quid,ever spent.

Hi,i drive a combo for work (postman),and i can say without doubt they are way too small,my mate has a Peugeot Partner and he can just squeeze 2 Scorpas in,you would be better off with a Vito or Transit size,then you are sure to get all your kit and bikes in.

Hi,to count links (pitches) you miss the first hole,but count the last one.half links are weaker but sometimes a necessity,try a transmission supplier for industrial 520 chain it's cheaper off a roll than boxed cut lengths.

Hi,mate.I started riding last year,thought my bike was ok,then a mate sugested dropping a tooth on the front,i now ride 9-41,it's a different bike now,i'm a lot smoother,bike is more predictable,best

Munch,trust me,there is 2 distinct grain patterns,one is like a sand cast grain,the other more linear grain.also i forgot to say,there is no physical damage on either face of the yoke?you any ideas?

Hi,my mate has just cracked one side of the bottom yoke on an '07 SY250,on removal of said item,there is a clear casting fault,anyone else heard of this problem?Cheers.Pat

Hi,ring this firm and get them to quote you on 520 TYC chain,bought 5 metres last year,split it between 3 0f us worked out about 13 quid each and lasted over a year.WOLD ENGINEERING 01759 303877 it's a bearing and transmission firm in east yorks.

Greetings to all.I've worked in the bearing trade for years and a BIG rule is don't EVER use copper products in bearings-it will kill em everytime!!!!! Use a good quality lm bearing grease,best one i use for this job is Rocol Aquqlube,clean the old crap out,the repack with new,but don't over pack-just cover rollers lightly in needle bearings,same with taper bearings in head stock.Bye

Hi,went to the Dirt Bike show yest,i was looking at some Pro taper bars,but couldn't work out if they would fit an 03 315r,any thoughts?
Also anyone out there tried an aftermarket silencer on one of these?i've got a patch worn through on mine.Cheers
