This thread needs more pictures.
This a clean KT that was at Donner last year. I think the only thing amiss is a little paint missing from the side covers.
And since someone mentioned it... this Suzi was for sale. US$750. I don't think it sold.

I've only got 5 boxes, seems I'm not liked by someone...

Why not tempt the Fates and let's see what happens.

I haven't run into the 160 guys at work. I've seen all the 160s at the track before. Quite the crew.
One of the guys on our team (Hi, Keith!) started last season on a TL125 and pretty much cleaned up on the 3 line. He moved to the Kawasaki and did just as well. He'll be moving to the 2 line this year and he should do just as well.

I don't know if it's just my browser but the links to the "sections" on the left is a red box with blue type. Nearly impossible to read and makes my eyes hurt.
The video is interesting. Those are some really fast traps.

Can I ask a really stupid question?
Were the Kawasakis every really competitive when they were new? Even with, presumably, full factory tweaking?
If the case, I assume you are attempting to make the proverbial silk purse just to say you did it.
Not that isn't reason enough... next thing you know you'll be sticking a Hodaka engine in a Sherco fram... wait a second... nevermind....
-
Do you have something like Harbor Freight over there?
1000lbs MC Lift
I think I just saw it on sale for under US$350.
A bit too much? How about one of these?
ATV lift
At less than US$60, how can you go wrong?

I assume the Reflex did not originally have lower frame rails? I believe he Michael is talking about removing the lower frame rails and replacing them with the bash plate.
I would think the rigidity factor would need to go up. If you're not going to use an existing bash plate, I would think the dimension of one would be a good starting point.
btw, there was a M49 on ebay a while ago that appears to have been modified the same way. Quite interesting.

-
Any chance you could fit a bash plate from an existing bike that uses it for frame structure?
I think later Bultacos, OSSAs and Yamahas (of the top of my head, meaning I may not have got all three right) were so fitted.

I assume that's not magnesium?
A cheap option might be this stuff: Alumiweld
As long as it's a non-stressed area it might work. Throw some of this crap on there and file it down pretty. Paint it back up and no one would know the difference.
Technically I don't think it's actually welding, more like soldering. You are suppose to be able to drill and tap this stuff.
Like I said, I wouldn't use it near anything mission-critical but scratches or cracks in a cover, maybe.
I've got a banged up Matador engine I was going to try it on.
You might find it locally under a different name.

Outer cover is a lot less painful than the cases.

San Diego, I guess that's why I don't have any complaints about the load times.
Front page loads almost instantly and forums almost as quickly.
I kind of like where the server is...

You can tell it's not a 91/92 because of the swingarm bolt. On the 91/92 (and later models I assume) the head of the bolt is recessed in the frame.
I now officially know far too much and will now proceed to forget one thing a day to make room in my noggin.
-
sorry, edited for clarification.
-
make sure you point out the "rare and collectable part"
isn't he off playing with OSSAs right now?

I didn't think that if you lived on a Mediterranean island that you were allowed to complain.

I'm more interested in the demographic of the site. I've always assumed it was heavily weighted towards UK members. So far it's pretty even, but I think that is more due to the time the poll was put up.

do they make the Dunlops in a tubed tire?

If it matters, some competitive organizations don't allow the flat slides (AHRMA for example).
