  4. I looking for some pics of the oldshool MPA Fantic style helmets, the ones with the little visors and came with the blue and red square (Fantic) decals to stick on them. The closest i can find when Googlin is that infamous pic of big john. Cheers:)
  5. That would involve me having to ask how the oven works, if i knew how the oven worked i may be forced to cook something..
  6. Cheers guys, got it on in the end. it was very very tight, i used a bit of pipe and with a good bit of persuasion from my yorkshire spanner it seated nicely.
  7. Im having trouble fitting the bearing to the bottom yoke, has anyone got any tips, its real tight and i dont wat to damage the finnish of the yoke. its properly pi**ing me off now.. Bearing i a 32005,
  8. Are there any cables odstructing it?
  9. Scorpa SY's are timeless classics, like Technics 1210's Fender Strats, mk1 golf and the Orange 5 . Get a good one and you cant go far wrong.. Nothing to me feels as smooth or as lively, the only downside is if not looked after they can look scruffy quickly, if i didnt ride scorpa i would probably have an Evo.
  10. I had the forks serviced and it turned out to be a damaged damper rod, now it like floating on a clouud of b**bies..
  11. Sherco have already put that style of mazocc's on the scorpa.
  12. I took out the little bleed screws and the fork action was loads better, while i was there i noticed that one fork was slightly higher in the yolks than the other too, so cheers for that Paul as i probably would not have noticed. Sadly tho as i have not been on the bike since scott day the headset bearings are mega stiff, so she is off for a forks service and new bearing for 2011. Thanks again peeps.
  13. The silicone ones from Birketts are the best ones for the money, I have never seen anything that will fit and still let the coolant flow properly, there may be some dealers with the old genuine scorpa items in stock, they where less than a tenner.
  14. They where not like this when new, they feel a bit dead, I had a go on a couple of gassers the other week both bikes had the same forks as mine but did not have the dead inch, I spoke to Nigel Birkett the other day about it an he told me how to bleed the air out, once I can get to the bike in the garage i will have a go at sorting it and let you know how I get on.
  15. Nothing rides like a scorpa, i swapped to another brand a couple of years ago and changed right back. Mine is an 08, its De-tuned and set up to grip, i find IRC's work very well when its colder. Glad you sticking with Scorpa
  16. The marzocchi's forks on my 08 SY (similar if not identical late Gasser forks) have about an inch of static sag, i seem to remember overhearing that you can bleed them, can anyone give me any advice as im not a big lover of messing with forks.

    gasgas 125

    I had a blast on an 09 125 and a 280 last week, i liked the 125 much better, im 13.5 stone.
  18. I would give it a good ride\thrash and drop the oil, replace with a nice lite gear oil PJ1 Ultra lite 75w or Rockoil lite gear oil, they all stick a little even my scorpa when it was new, jump on knock it into first then go up the gears and it shuold free its self.
  19. Very comforting to see that even good lads fluff it
  20. Its clearly shagged, but all is not lost as i will take it off your hands..
  21. Mine did that when it was low on fuel.
  22. Im about to start looking at my Fantic 240 clutch as its a little grabby, will the cover come off in situ? it looks tight and i cant quite tell if the motor needs to be lifted a little so the bottom front bolt and cover will clear the frame.
