They are pretty noisy motors, they give off a tappety noise, i had a Rev4 and was unsue about the sound. My mate has an 2010 Evo 4t and thats just as noisy.

Has anyone put a 4rt front wheel in a gasser? is it a case of just swapping the bearings, the disc OD is the same but the bobbins are a bit larger this seems to be the only difference.

Throttle cable could be too tight or the throttle could be sticking on the bars?

Do you have any idea if i would be better off with the whole reed block from the TYZ steel reeds and all, or useing a set of the plastic reeds that come standard in the SY?

I have been toying with the idea of putting a Tyz reed block i have sitting in a draw into my scorpa, i vaguely remember someone telling me that the reed stoppers make the bike i good bit smoother. Has anyone tried this mod?

Im converting my TYZ clutch to hydralic (SY spec) and just wondered it anyone has used a bleed banjo to make it easy to bleed up?

The Kickstart can catch taking a chunk out over time, my 05 had some raptors fitted and they rely ate the kickstart, later bikes 07-08 had the pegs moved so this was not such a problem. Hope this helps

If it has a dellorto carb, it will have one behind the round inlet elbow thats bolted onto the carb. Its i little mesh disc one.

I take the pin out from behind the boot on the master cylinder and take a little off, maybe a couple mm's, i also fit a play adjuster in the lever making it easy to set up. I have had Sy's with a longer pin and the clutch does not feel as good (very on/off) and not so progressive. Adjuster and pin ect cost round

I have a bike that in 99.9% sure i registered, the chap i got the bike from told me that he never recived the V5 and never chased it as he only used the bike off road, the bike has also done the scottish so there is a good chance a V5 for the bike is floating round in someones draw. As i dont know the reg number can i still apply with a V62? or is there another way to find out, i cant get dvla on the phone the are ALWAYS too busy
