Empty the tank and remove and clean the petloc, often these get blocked from crud in petrol cans ect.
  2. All your advice so far is good. The plug i use is a BKR6EIX and i have never needed to swap one once fitted! i use 10/30 trans and Motul 710 pre mix. i always change the sump bolt for a TYZ one from J K hirst.

"Rimming" update, tried to slide the tounge in gently with a touch of vasaline, No joy there. In the end i took it to a shop and paid to have it done properly. Thanks for your advice, i am crap and gave up.
  4. The stands were upraterd on the 07 bikes, if i remeber pre 07 bike had a smaller hole on the alloy gusset, the swingarms are the same so i cant see a problem drilling it out a couple of mm's.

I split my rear tyre the other day and managed to dislodge the rimtape air leaking from a few spokes so i have decided to have a go and replace the rimtape myself. can anyone gove me any tips as this will be the first time i have done this. do i need to put the rimtape on dry or do i use tyre soap? do you use sikaflex or silicon? Any tip would be helpfull.

It can be done but its a pain, why dont you just buy a TYZ rob the flywheel and sell it on. thats what i did. Dont be tempted to buy the motor for sale on ebay, as i already robbed that one years ago.

WES are quality after market pipes made in the uk, they have been round for years. not seen one on a rev3 but if i was looking to get an after market pipe, i would get a WES. Most folks just patch up there old ones.
  21. The tyre (x11) on my 08 4t has been rubbing the shock a little, i have tried a chain with an extra link but its way to slack i tried a half link and i have made the rear more stiff, has anyone had this problem before? The chain is not that old so i asume it will streach a little but i realy dont want to damage the shock.
