The bottom shock bush on my 03 sherc has excessive play, can anyone tell me how best to remove and refit please.

I have never seen a spacer on my Sy's. difficult to say without seeing but if its lasted this long without going through the tank i would be wary of building up that area as the glass fiber my push a hole in the already moulded tank.

This thread Just made me think about a time half an hour after getting my rev4 when TT5TH came as close to looseing a bike as i have ever seen. The only thing he broke was wind tho.. I dont think he got on the rev again..

I'm setting up the rear shock on my 315 the preload has been wound right off and i am unsure how far up to wind it, could someone tell me roughly how much thread they have showing under the bottom lock-ring please so i have somewhere to start. Thanks guys, that was what i had intended to do.

Im putting a full topend on my 315 (re-nicosil piston ect ect ect) and i have been given conflicting info about ring gapping by two well respected trials mechanics. one says no need to gap the rings as the tolerances are so fine, and the other say they need gapping to stop the piston nipping, i am undecidad any info or advice would be good thanks. I didnt bother gapping my she-co and it was totaly fine.

The beta is a genuine 200cc the gasgas is a 160cc i would ride either, but i wouldnt be afraid to ride a 125cc either.
