I like short forged ones.

I had a go on one a few weeks ago, I had cash to buy one but could could not part with it, there was no gain for me in swapping my 08. The suspension was lush but had no noticeable difference in performance to my 08, tho im not sure if the silver Marzocci's are a downgrade? No doubt it looks a little thinner but the back end of the airbox seemed i bit higher than the older bike, and i could feel my ass hitting it. The bike has retained its chunky looks something i was concerned about. It seemed to stall it quite a bit too, this is a problem i have always had with the motor, there where a couple of other issues i had with the finnish that that cemented my decission to hold on to my yam motor SY. Overall i think its a good bike, but the motor did not suit my style of riding as there is simpley not enough flywheel weight. In fairness the old scorpa did not suit me out of the box either and i sware by a 3.1kg TYZ fly wheel. Another question i could not help thinking was will the 2012 scorpa's come with the old motor or will they have the NEW sherco engine? it would not supprise me if the bike changes quite a bit next year.

Rev4 is a good bike.

im not 100% but i think a Techno kick start may fit, had one go on a 97 easy. >REAR GUARD< Bobbins I think are also similar to early 315's or late Techno's, im 99.9% sure that the SY2T temp sender fits. The piston kit from Peter knight and re-nicosil will be the killer i wouldnt expect much change from

Because what they are doing is a good idea, They wont sell loads of them over hear but they will sell some, i can see them selling loads in Japan where small 4t motors are the trend. Scorpa may have failed but 125 4t is still a good bike, and there is still a lot of love for it.

Cheers will keep an eye on it, take a look at my old one in the Trials central garage, i regret selling it massively:( Gasgas are onto a winner if the price is right. it will be there most reliable bike ever!

I rode one in Richmond last year so did a lad from my village untill recently, one went round to Scott a few years back. They are a proper marmite machine but people buy them and people like them. Hope Gasgas get them here, If you see a 125 4t scorpa let me know as i have cash waiting for a nice one.

Has anyone got any views on the gasgas 225 kits? Any info on how they run would be ace thanks.

This is just a heads up to all in the Richmond North yorks / Catterick area, we where broken into lask night our well locked tool shed door was mashed open but nothing was taken, leading police to belive they did not find what they where after. There where a coulpe of other similar events in the area so be on guard. Maybe im being paranoid but i always assume the scummy robbing lowlife ****ers are after my bike.

Not sure what you mean by " transformations and crim in progress " but if you mess with that bike then your a madman! I can still remember the test review on this bike done in Dirt bike rider magazine by Martin lampkin.

No idea about the new beta price but 20% vat wont help, just as im on the cusp of affording a new bike the price always go's up. If the pounds getting stronger then why do prices go up and not down?

I agree, about the bike but not the suit. That suit make yours look Class did you but it in preparation for your new scorpa? It will have to be priced well for me to consider one. cant see them selling well at +4k
