  2. Depends on how deep the grooves are. Minor clean disc with some wet/dry fine grit sandpaper, I soaked the paper with WD-40 when I cleaned mine up. New pads will "Bed in" eventually. Deep grooves pitch it and get a new disc.

I do notice a difference between a new tire and my usual tires (Front and Rear) but unfortunately the new tire does not actually change how well I ride........................................

She is mighty rounded at the end for sure. Was a little strapped for cash as I think this last rear has been on for 3 yrs. Like I said I am mighty cheap. But planning on new rear and front this year!!!!!!!!
  21. zippy replied to davet's topic in Trials Gear
I generally run Dunlops, and get 2 years out of a rear and god only knows how many years out of a front. This is not because I don't ride very often, it's just that I am very cheap and run my rear one direction the first year and then flip it for the second year. (I do notice a bit of loss of traction toward the end of the season though.)
  22. Well, I crawled out of bed at noon (my time) on New Years day. so that means my New Year's Eve was a success. Happy New Year to all, and may 2010 be great for all economies and riding.
  23. zippy replied to pat's topic in Bultaco
He could've just held the rear brake and stalled it out.
