If its your first ride there you should enjoy it.
I rode there 82, and the sections are pretty much the same I think.........
-
I wish I was as past it as they are.
I wish I was as past it as they are on a bad day when they don't care when they are 55.
-
It has been described by one source (friend of a friend) who is there as very much a 3rd world country.
Micheal browns bike hadn't arrived yesterday, but due today.
They have a police escort to the hotel and back and the locals are not aware what trials are.
-
I would imagine it has maybe never been off and has corroded a little and have the original loctite on it.
The flywheel needs holding, either with a strap wrench of some description or make up a holding tool with a lump of steel and two correctly positioned bolts.
-
Not to sure about the creaming reference but there you go.
Jarvis really was in a bad way at hawkstone and like Ck I think he is probably past his best, and these if only arguments are pretty pointless and a fair way from hypothetical.............
However, as a great admirer and sherco lover, the most disappointing thing about the Hawkstone injury was that he could have really done something that year, think he was leading the event at thetime.
beat Dougie, maybe not but a decent runner up surely.
If only....(!)
-
I have had Raptor pegs on my last 3 bikes, same set, they are simply the best!
-
Pat who what class? Give us some details...........
-
Rather than ask on here where you are highly unlikely to get an answer, why not...
Sandifords - 01282 428383
???
My dealer has been doing just that and has never been given a reason why there are none "available" immediately, the rumours are starting and whilst I wouldn't want to bring anything up which is not based on fact, afaik no 4rt's have been sold in the uk for 2 months and no one knows why they aren't available.
-
The easiest way I found is to try to e mail the picture, this automatically asks if you want to resize and then does it for you, save to desktop ready for posting, easy!
-
Sandifords have apparently been "unable" to get bikes for 8 weeks (2 months just before the scottish) and no dealers in the uk can get them, why is this?
If you don't believe me phone your dealer.
-
I don't think for one minute anyone is getting carried away with Dib's result, excellent though it was. Dib's has to beat Fajardo and Freixa regularly and that is going to take some doing. But he has started the season better than expected and deserves a great deal of credit.
Freixa is possible this year but a fit fajardo will be more difficult but having spoken to James and Jack I feel sure they will give it a good shot and then next year who knows?
-
guess they would be paralell imports then?
-
Yes sold out in the UK, but available in Spain, can anyone explain??????????????????????????
-
As no montesas are available in the uk, 06 or 07 (and haven't been for 8 weeks WHY???) the question is very academic but the 07 I understand is better.
-
-
good job its a secondhand one new ones are unobtanium, have been for weeks. Why is that when they are in dealers in Spain?
Check out (the dumped) bikes at appleyards to get a true secondhand value.

I have no desire to ride the SSDT my ability is stopping me, and the whole cost of doing it would put me off even if I could manage it.
I would guess that the 3 day is much more popular than the SSDT with clubman, three days is about right and its bang smack in the middle of yorkshire, scotland doesn't fill up as fast thats for sure.
Threr is always the added bonus of occasionally seeing Perce upside down in a beck as well
-
It is almost impossible to sort a bike from a keyboard but that doesn't mean it has never been done.
It is a dellorto?
Really need to get someone who knows at a trial to listen to it.
Standard jetting or kev's reccomendations should be near if it bogs then its a case of either something else or a fault.
Float height is what?
-
master cylinder?
The clutch is a spring in compression which you release with lever applied pressure via hydraulics. Assume the clutch is ok and look at the slave or master?
Doubt it is a sherco specific problem
-
Thanks for the reply but me still no understandy. Thanks anyway i'm sure it's a good mod.
I understand the longer arm so will stick with that.
imagine its shorter and move the arm to where it would be the position of the "sweep" is a tangent to the circle in line with the cable rather than at an angle?
-
I like the standard gearing, always put in 450cc and adjust by the glass thingy, isn't that what its for????????????
-
The gasser has a sachs shock this year but don't be put off by that its very good.
I went from a 290 to a gas gas 250 and the biggest thing is the gears sooooo much better in sections on the gasser.
-
OTF actually new mod this one courtesy of bigwigg.
imagine a clock and then the original cable pulls through from say 4 to 2ish/
shorter cable makes it 1 to 11 and should help with action. remebering to have lavishly greased the clutch rod and the arm first of course, you can use a longer arm but set right it gives a good feel at the lever, new cale lubed with teflon spray of course but you know that bit.
I lost an ally kickstart in hemel hempstead high street in 83 but doubt if its still there............
maybe you could modify a beta one?
-
& I thought you only had eyes for the fat lass with the flat tank, do you like it when she's a dirty girl? I've got this awful vision of you, the bike & the lycra suit.
Perce,
I think you should keep your awful visions to your self its not healthy.
CK
PS I do like my 4RT but I wouldn't go as far as to shag it.
unlike before you were married when you weren't so fussy..........
