Think it depends how you intend to use it. There is a good few improvements between the 247 and the 349. The 349 was great in becks and the like but not brilliant twisting and turning down south.
-
So you don't know about Nick shield doing very well on one in 2003 then?
You stand corrected again then ?
And how about answering the when did you last do a twinshock question?
-
Total B*****ks, the bultaco gearbox is one of the best trials boxes ever made, the 6 speeder was a development of the unburstable 5 speeder, and may have been slightly worse than very good, but never fragile.
I have used the same one in competiton for over 10 years and never had a problem with it.
At one stage I had 5 340's all with good gearboxes, 3 original unsplit cases.
hris if you must comment on everything please try to be a little more accurate.
I used mine for the Falcon twinshock series over a couple of years and then in the early days of the classic series never had a mechanical failure once. When did you last ride in a twinshock series?
THESE ARE EXCELLENT BIKES FOR TWINSHOCK COMPETITION, PARTS ARE READILY AVAILABLE AND NOT TO EXPENSIVE.
If anyone has any doubts please talk to Dave Renham at BULTACO UK now he does know what he is talking about.

e mail me if you would like a modifications list.

There are but most are secret, if you know what I mean. We haven't got your membership form yet stu.

What did the tbm test say gaff?
-
Its more of a longer term thing if I get my wheels trued I know the wheel buider uses wd 40 to ease the nipples so think the silicone would never seal anyway and thats not the way it was designed. Sort of bodge that works thing.
-
I've got ascorpa one which fits but lower, trying that at the mo will put up a picture later. You might get one of those from a breakers.
-
Sorry rs you are a bit off on this one, for most servicable rims silicone is best avoided, physcos spot on, works teams or not the sealing bands are not expensive.
-
The only real argument against silicone is that if you adjust or tension the spokes it can upset the seal and if you ever go for a true up its a mess. For a one off or if you are going to sell its fine.
-
Look at it this way the rim is leaking not the spokes. Need to make sure that the tape is exactly where it should be and then it will seal. Thats how they come from the factory. It can be a pain and I have spent many hours avoiding silicone, but not sure its worth it.
Best help is to go to rypusa and look at waynes tips explains it very well.

Tried to e mail you Dominic but it bounced.

What I did with the Euro rounds was to input the places into multimap then locate the airport closest that way. Ryanair and easyjet have just released summer schedules so a good time to buy. BMI baby, BA and there are a couple of others around to check aswell.
-
So you yourself have weighed them side by side?
-
-
Don't believe me? Try it.

Perce will give you a more imformed answer but the clunk is very very normal. Go with the pro, besides the weather will be nice this year.
-
Lets just hope that we havn't seen the outdoor 123 as well.
One thing that bothers me is the tremendous power to weight disadvantage that Doug must be with the 4rt over the gasser. It is supposedly 30lbs heavier, in standard form, without the differential of Doug Vs. Raga aswell.
-
They seek him here they seek him there................
-
3 day just north of sardent coming up soon aswell. HRC who posts on here somewhere is pretty hot on whats happening in France try him.

Firstly and most importantly if the event is not "in profit" then we need to be very careful as to what might happen, this has been the only world round in or out we have had for a few years so its really important we keep it. Perhaps the suggestion that the programmes should be sold may increase revenue or another venue could be looked at, the ticket sales always seem to all go would the event take a bigger venue? Would it be possible to have graded pricing so the best seats a few rows back cost more? I think Avondale (Crosswaite and Lampkin ) need as many suggestions as we can think of to keep the event going in England.
Tony Blair didn't ban tobacco sponsorship our government did and we all voted at the last election so I guess the majority of the country thinks the suffering and pain that is caused by smoking warrants a ban on advertising, however selective it may appear.
Lets keep politics off the forums eh?
-
Not sure how it would work as the standard hole is too close so you would need 4 bolts for each clamp, very interested though. Also height may not work either.
-
He did say at the euro round IN THE SUMMER at hawkstone that the 4rt needed more power so perhaps its not just a bike thing, he has had a good few months KNOWING its not up to the job indoors so no wonder his heart wasn't in it.
-
Doubt if the Sherco 320 will be there, production scheduled for early feb, allegedly.
