  1. Wasn't running right before that apparently, but take nothing away it was there and being ridden, which is more than we can say for any of the others! 4T that is.
  2. Avoid tubes if possible.
  3. If thats the reason why don't they all fail or at least one in five?
  4. Not my point at all dumbass, I think Tom has had a great week in scotland getting better every day, finishing 11th. is a great achievement. Its riders like Tom we (yes Mark you and me) should be helping even if it is only in a small way and give those with the ability the chance, which they in turn need to grab. Theres nothing like being constuctive, so what do you suggest/think?
  5. I am on my second Shoei and its great vents lighter than a tr2p, best of all removable liner, smells great! I think you have to be careful as a Bieffe was my first choice but it just didnt fit my size or shape, try before you buy.
  6. e mail me your address and I will send a photo
  7. A pal has a pair of Fantic 1984 armelli gloves in ok condition anyone want them?
  8. If there are no 4t Shercos in the SSDT I doubt if there will be a production version in 2005.
  9. Fair enough then, so lets reduce lottery funding to British gymnastics and make the prizes bigger, same goes for all other sports funded or otherwise and then we can watch an olympics full of the aristocracy or Beckhams kids (python sketch) as they will be the only ones who can afford it. And while we are at it lets cut taxes, close schools and hospitals live and die in sh!t, great idea, then we wouldn't have to give anything away at all. I for one think that even with all its faults the ACU in general and academy in particular is at the present time our only way forward, and probably needs more funding and more effort if we are to have British competitors on the WTC in the future, unless thats worthless IYHO too?
  10. Had 5 shercos on the trot and never had a main bearing fail, yet. Run it in steady and use mineral oil there would be no need to change the bearings, certainly not from new.
  11. Any one would think you had a team to wet nurse! Tell perce to get his finger out. Any team (in same colours thingy type clothes) photos?
  12. I don't think you are cubby I think we should all have an opt in clause on the licence application and give an extra
  13. Bet that costs a bit a week off work entry fees and the like?
  14. I see that Tom is doing well at the SSDT.
  15. Oh lets not go there james, if you want to ride better then you practice son.
  16. In your dreams big boy, no way on that big lump of iron bedframe, and if you continue to upset me I shall drag out the ultimate twinshock my extra special tricked up 340 and beat you with that too!
  17. Good luck to all of team woftam, " never before have Trials central expected so much form so few!"
  18. I don't think that Sherco forks or discs are in "the spirit" of a twinshock at all, and why anyone would want to spend that amount Of Time And Money is byond me. If you are thinkining of getting back into trials buy a modern bike and forget the prep and maintainence hassles. A pal has a montesa hardly used for 1600 ready to go, enjoy the riding. there are quite a few bikes like this and parts are easier to get than a twinshock.
  19. Whenthe Falcon twinshock series started (the present classic series evolved from this) one guy did conert either a RTL or a ty Mono to a twinshock, the loophole was soon stopped by stating that the machine must have originally been fitted with 2 shocks mounted on the swinging arm I think. It all depends at what level you wish to ride, I guess, if its just for club trials who cares if you want to make a monoshock a twinshock sounds woftam to me though.

    Weather

Just checked the weather forcast for the week and its only light rain, but every day, looks like its going to be a wet one again.
  21. I'm sorry if it sounds like an attack on tom sagar as this was never my intention and I have great respect for his ability. I could explain the cheapest way to get to Portugal and do a world round but that again is not my point. What I, and probably a lot of older riders and fans want to see a British presence at european and world trials, not necessarily every single event but those within reach. How we (ACU?) fund this like the RFME does is probably a difficult one to answer, we all want it but do we want to pay a higher licence fee???
  22. Sorry slip of the key 3 should be
  23. I guess put everything into it, not missing out for the sake of a fun sunday on an expensive bike where entry fees are
