  1. I believe that Nigel Birkett is pushing for one to arrive in the UK for that very day.

if memory serves it may be a floating rear disc. My first GG, think it was a '95 250cc, had a floating rear disc. They rattle a bit. But could be wrong!
  3. Don't know ift his google translation is any better, seems to make some sense anyway! google translation The bike looks good though, would be interesting to get a ride when they arrive.
  4. 2011 250 Gas Gas...GO!!
  5. i ran 11/42 on my 300. was brilliant and i found it much better than than 10/42, it enabled me to use 1st gear a lot more which i wouldn't use with 10 on the front.

Having just purchased a new GG and having a first proper ride out yesterday, i have to say i'm very very impressed. The trial was probably THE muddiest i have ever ridden and getting traction was a bit of an issue but the new bike managed to find it rather well. Having downgraded from a 300 to a 250 i was expecting a big difference in the power but for the first time out it seemed extremely similar at the bottom end, it did lack that bit of top end (obviously, but not so much) but in the sort of coniditions we had yesterday you wouldn't have needed it but, it did pull when you needed it. THe suspension was extremely planted which will have helped finding the grip and the balance of the bike is very good. The slightly wider frame seems to have helped out a lot. It feels as though you can have a lot more control when leaning on the foot pegs to change direction quickly. The riding position is pretty confortable too. Overall i was very impressed with it and would highly recommend it to anyone who is thinking of buying one.
  7. We use red and blue as the main route with green flags deviating the experts and yellows for the C's and lower and the clubman following the red and blues. it is pretty straight forward and slightly less confusing than using more colours. it seems to work incredibly well.
  8. quiet duggan!
  9. Cheers for the input guys. When i turned the bars they didn't really click it was only when i rocked the front end really that they clicked. Now they are tight again they aren't clicking. I need to check them before the manx anyway so i shall give them a good once over and some new grease.
  10. I discovered recently that my headtstock is clicking and has slight movement. I have tightened it up and it's stopped clicking but is this all it will need or will i need to re-grease them too? Is re-greasing easy? are they easy to inspect, how would i go about doing this?? cheers.

Spoke to my dealer yesterday and they are pretty much the same pricing as they recieved the price lists from Shirty they day before.
  12. haha, good one!
  13. I'm looking to downgrade from my current 07 300cc Gasser and purchase a brand spaking new one but, i don't know which engine to get. I'm an average clubmans rider. I love the 300, it's brilliant fun but i think that the bike is taking me up most things rather than me doing any "leg work" so i'm considering a smaller capacity to help with my riding (does it work or is it a mental thing!?). Anyone had any experience of last years 280 and 250? Noone here on the Isle of Man really has a smaller one so i can't get out and try them. Would the 280 or 250 suit me better, what are you guys riding/considering at the moment? Cheers.

The guys at Trials UK seem to have the prices for the 2011 models. clicky They appear to be very similar to last years prices, which is good. Atleast the price hasn't jumped. Hope they are indeed coming at those prices.

No way Duggan, Gas Gas definately for life. Beta's have a habbit of breaking as you well know! ;-) I'd go for a Gas Gas. the only dilema i have at the moment is which engine i go for when i get a new 2011 model, 250, 280 or the big 300!

Its a gorgeous looking bike, Gas Gas have defiantely stepped up once again! Going on previous Raga Reps, a lot of the new parts/developments have been put onto the new 'standard' models. I can't wait for the 2011's to be released. I'm ready for a new bike and i'm looking forward to seeing the pictures of the new model. If it looks anything like this new Raga, i'll be putting my order in straight away.
  23. Most definaely a FIVE!! The minder definately helped him up too. You can see the observer realising that it is infact Toni Bou and he shouldn't 5 him cos he is a fellow spaniard so instead just lets him away with a one! Cheating ********!!!
  24. I'm in! Going back for more. Can't wait!
  25. If it was from the breather on the left, by the front sprocket then it would probably be Gearbox oil which has escaped. The likely cause would be that there is too much oil in there. The oil should be roughly half way up the sight glass on the clutch case (kick start side) or about 400ml (ish). There doesn't seem to be a definate amount but while filling the gearbox then oil half way up the glass is about right and you can't really go wrong. Hope that helps?
