That'll be that stump then Justin......

Personal view, but the Beta is the most neutral of the bikes I've ridden (ie most of them), it has a good feel without being overly front heavy or too steep at the front. There's ways to tune this out but that's all personal choice. I find Gassers too steep but more relaxed than a Scorpa or a Sherco, but I like the way a Scorpa grips. It's all going to be choice ride as many different bike as you can before you spend and be patient you don't want to rush out and buy a dog of bike

Speak to lampkins, they ARE the experts and try and get a better kill button, the stock one can be rubbish
-
Back up ralphy's comments go further to suggest a Beta Rev 3 200 if you can get your hands on one. Very neutral handling, more than powerful enough and a great bike to learn on. There are 200's about, depends on your budget.
If you go for a 250 get it softened out as much as you can till you're confident in your basic techniques, slow throttle, flywheel weights, second base gasket if that's what it needs.

That Ossa looks gorgeous....

limericks anyone??????
There was a young girl from Carshalton
Who had a long tit and a short 'un
To make up for that
She had a big tw@ t
And could suck start a 650 Norton!
A do-it-yourselfer named Alice
Used a dynamite stick for a phallus.
They found her v*g**a
In South Carolina
And half of her anus in Dallas.
There was a young Lady from Ealing
That had a delicate feeling
She lay on her back
and opened her crack
And p!!ssed all over the ceiling.
There was a young Woman from Leeds
That swallowed a packet of seeds
In less than an hour
Her ar$e was a flower
and her pu$$y was covered in weeds.
There was a young man from Havana
Who used to do tricks for a tanner
His favourite trick
Was to stand on his pr!ck
And tighten his balls with a spanner.
There once was a woman who begat
Triplets called Nat, Pat and Tat
They'd been fun in the breeding
But a nightmare for feeding

erm..the above is some of the raw data we use to generate forecasts...... just a wee bit more useful than that bunch of amateurs
-
........don;'t know what website you looked at
Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent, Telford + Wrekin, W Midlands Warwickshire, Worcestershire
There is a moderate risk of severe weather developing over England and Wales on Sunday. A prolonged spell of wet and windy weather is expected, with heavy rain falling on already saturated ground. The rain may also turn to snow at times over hills.
Justin....that dark blue over the Midlands is 15-20mm of rain in 6 hrs the paler colour 10-15 mm range, temperature closer to 3 - 5 degrees celcius of 37-41 degrees, i'd be more worried about frostbite

Gizza's just going to take piccys of Justin on his ar$e....

Jeez, that is quite incredible, kind of speechless at that. If you know your WW2 stuff you can see some of the portrayals in there, the Babi Yar massacre for instance

My post is pure fantasy, wouldn't happen. Sorry too old a head Muirshearlich is Trotters Burn and of course Kentallen is known as Lagnaha.
I have absolutley no connection with the committee or the clerk of the course so anything I say is my furtive mind at work as it always is until I start nagging Highland Lassie to get the routes up, despite the fact that I KNOW we don't see them to early April at the earliest and that I'll get a thick ear for nagging....
No Clunes would be different but land management being what it is it would be a surprise if Mark decided not to use some part of what we've come to expect every year. Leaving somewhere fallow for a year not only gives the land owner a bit les of a headache but makes things different, Mark like doing that. There is another nice (!) moor run on the other side of the loch called Corryaraick Pass, long time since the trial has been over there, don't know whether it's available these days but that would be fun.
Eitherway......I suspect another six week of patience is ahead of us...... time to start nagging HL...

What did I say........ could use our new one might do this better than figuring out North Atlantic Oscillation!!! Speeds currently approaching 0.75 Petaflops scheduled 1.125 Petaflops by 2011....buggered if it will fit in a Beta frame mind!!
